Selecting the unit of measurement (cm/m)
• Press and hold, with a switched on digital display 4, the button 5,
until the measurement unit „m“ (Meter) is shown in the digital
display 4.
• To return to the measurement unit „cm“ (centimeter), press and
hold the button 5once again.
Note:
When switching the appliance on, the last used measurement
unit appears in the digital display 4.
Using the Digital Laser Tape Measure
• Press the release button 6to be able to withdraw the measuring
tape 2with greater ease. When you let go of it, the measuring
tape is locked. When it is pressed again, the measuring tape is
once more free to move, e.g. for automatic retraction or to be
pulled further out.
• If you switched the digital display 4on before pulling out the tape,
this will show the distance between the leading edge of the appliance
and the indentation 1on the measuring tape. If you first switch the
digital display 4on during or after pulling out the tape, it will then
show the error message „Err”.
• Use the water glasses 3to utilise the spirit level function in the
appliance. When the air bubbles are between the markings,
the appliance is lined up horizontally on all sides.
Using the Laser Marking Function
• Press once on the button 5to switch the laser on.
• Place the laser against the desired wall and align it for vertical
line marking with the help of the water glasses 3.
