licenseisrequiredifyouwishtomakemorethantwomeasurementswithyoursensor.
Maximumthreeadditionalmeasurementscanbeadded.Remotefunctionsarenot
consideredasameasurement.
Note
WheninterfacingaPItypereceiverunit,themaximumnumberofmeasurementsa
sensorcanmakeistwo.
Interfaces
Oncesubmerged,thesensorisautomaticallyactivated.Inordertoreceivethe
informationfromthesensoryouneedasuitablereceiverandoneormorehydrophones.
Youalsoneedacomputerrunningasuitablevisualizationprogram.Currently,both
SimradTV80andSimradPI50supportthePXMultiSensorMk2sensor.
SensorConguration
Eachindividualsensorcanbeconguredtospecifyitscommunicationchannel,which
measurementstomakeandsomeotherrelevantoperatingparameters.
Beforeasensorisusedforthersttime,itmustbecongured.Whencongurationis
required,connectthesensortoacomputerrunningtheTV80and/orPXCongurator
programsbymeansofthePXConguratorcable..
