5. Remove the two black screws securing the front cover to the front hinge, then remove the front
cover.
6. Remove the power switch from the housing, and disconnect the leads.
7. Lift the housing from the base assembly.
3
NOTE: Pull the lower front edge of the housing away from the base assembly first, and then begin
manipulating the housing upward. Since there is enough play in the cable connecting the housing to the
circuit board, it’s not necessary to unplug it. Simply lay the housing next to the printer assembly.
B Install the Memory Card
1. Locate the Expansion Slot on the main circuit board. (It’s the pin 44 black connector in the middle
of the main circuit board).
4
2. Orient the memory card properly, and insert it into the expansion slot as shown in pic5 below. The
copper colored heat sink will be partially covered by the memory card.
NOTE: It is NOT necessary to change any of the jumpers on either the memory card or the main circuit
board. Simply insert the card and leave the jumpers as they are.
C. Reassemble the Printer
Reassemble the printer by reversing the steps in section A, being careful not to pinch any cables.
D. Print a Self Test
Print a self test to confirm that the card has been properly installed.
To do this, hold in the purple feed button, and turn on the printer.

Installation de la trousse de mémoire flash
A. Retrait du capot
