Intoduction
Ladyshave Skin Comfort with two exchangeable
shaving foils:
a purple shaving head for the legs;
a light blue shaving head for the more delicate
parts of the body,such as underarms and bikini
line.
Placing the batteries
Make sure your hands are dry when you place
the batteries.
C1Open the transparent lid.
C2Open the lid of the battery compartment.
C3Insert two batteries.
Use R6/1.5V batteries.
We recommend Philips Powerlife batteries
because of their long life.
Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly.
Check whether the + and - poles of the batteries
match the indications in the battery
compartment.

C4Close the battery compartment by
snapping the lid home.
To prevent leakage of the batteries:
- Do not expose the appliance to high
temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Remove the batteries if you intend not to use
the appliance for more than one month.
- Always remove empty batteries from the
appliance.
Inserting the NIVEA body sachet
C1Take the lotion dispenser and push it into
the NIVEA body sachet until it is firmly
seated.
2Open the transparent lid.
C3Click the sachet with inserted lotion
dispenser into the appliance.
4Close the transparent lid.
Using the appliance
If the hairs to be removed are very long (if your
last shave was more than two months ago),we
advise you to shave without using NIVEA body
shaving lotion first.After that,apply NIVEA body
shaving lotion and shave the stubbles left.

C1Switch the appliance on by pressing the
on/off button.
C2Place the shaving head on the skin and
move it against the direction of the
hairgrowth.
C3During shaving,repeatedly press the dosing
button during the shave to apply NIVEA
body shaving lotion.
When using a new sachet it may be necessary to
press a couple of times.
If there is still some shaving lotion left on your
skin after the shave,you can rub it into your skin
as a moisturizing lotion.
The NIVEA body shaving lotion was developed
for dry use.You can also use the Ladyshave Skin
Comfort in the shower.If you do so,apply soap
or shaving foam for the most comfortable shave.
Cleaning the appliance
Clean the appliance every time you have used it.
Do not use any alcohol,acetone,petrol,abrasive
cleaning agents etc.to clean the plastic parts.

C1Open the transparent lid,remove the
lotion dispenser with the NIVEA body
sachet and rinse the appliance with warm
water.
Do not exert any pressure on the shaving head
to prevent it from getting damaged.
C2Remove the shaving foil.
C3Brush the slash for NIVEA body lotion
properly while rinsing it under the warm
tap.
C4Brush the cutter block and the trimmer
while rinsing them under the warm tap.
5After re-inserting the NIVEA body sachet,
pump several times to ensure that the
lotion dispenser is filled with lotion.
Replacing the NIVEA body sachet
1Open the transparent lid.
2Remove the empty NIVEA body sachet
with the lotion dispenser attached.
3Remove the lotion dispenser from the
NIVEA body sachet.

Do not throw the lotion dispenser away!
C4Rinse the lotion dispenser under the warm
tap while pumping a few times.
5Push the lotion dispenser into a new
NIVEA body sachet until it is properly
seated.
6Click the new NIVEA body sachet with the
lotion dispenser into the appliance.
7Close the transparent lid.
8Pump several times to fill the lotion
dispenser with lotion.
If you have not used or cleaned your Ladyshave
Skin Comfort for some time,you may be unable
to get any lotion out of the (full) sachet.Should
this occur,put the shaving head and the lotion
dispenser in warm water for about 1 hour to
restore proper performance.
If the transparent lid should come loose (e.g.
when the appliance falls on the floor) it can be
attached again.
Replacing the batteries
To replace the batteries,follow the instructions in
'Placing the batteries'.

Maintenance and replacement
C1Rub a drop of sewing machine oil onto the
cutter block and the trimmer twice a year.
Shaving foil
If you use the appliance once a week or more
often,we advise you to replace the shaving foil
every six months.
If the shaving foil is damaged or worn,it must be
replaced right away.Use only original Philips
Ladyshave Skin Comfort shaving foils (type
number HP 6107).
NIVEA body moisturizing shaving lotion
The NIVEA body sachets are available in boxes
containing five sachets and one lotion dispenser.
Replace the lotion dispenser when you start using
a new package of NIVEA body sachets (type
number HP 6030).
If your are unable to obtain these products from
your local dealer,please contact the Philips
Service Centre or the Philips Helpline.You will
find the relevant telephone numbers in the folded
worldwide guarantee leaflet.

C1Öffnen Sie den transparenten

C1Setzen Sie den Lotion-Spender fest in die
Kartusche mit der NIVEA Body Shaving
Lotion ein.
2Öffnen Sie den transparenten
Gerätedeckel.
C3Setzen Sie die Kartusche mit dem Lotion-
Spender so in das Gerät ein,daß sie
einrastet.
4Schließen Sie den transparenten
Gerätedeckel.
