always be followed, including the following:
Read all instructions before using this appliance.

To reduce the risk of electric shock:
1. Do not reach for a razor while plugged in that has fallen into
water. Unplug immediately.
2. Do not use a razor while plugged in while bathing or in a
shower.
3. Do not place or store a razor while plugged in where it can fall
or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place razor while
plugged in into or drop into water or other liquid.
4. Always unplug this razor from the electrical outlet immediately
after (re)charging.
5. Unplug razor before cleaning.
6 When discarding razor, unplug razor and remove rechargeable
batteries. See Battery Removal instructions.

1. Close supervision is necessary when this razor is used by, on, or
near children or invalids.
2. Use this razor for its intended household use as described in
this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by

not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or

Service Location for examination and repair.
4. Keep the razor and cord away from heated surfaces.

6. Do not charge razor or plug in outdoors or operate where
aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is
being administered.
7. Do not use this razor with a damaged or broken comb, as facial
injury may occur.

Always attach plug to razor first, then charging plug into outlet. Be
certain plug is inserted firmly into razor, up to mark indicated on plug.
To disconnect, turn razor off then remove charging plug from outlet.
9. To prevent possible damage to the cord, do not wrap cord
around the razor.
10. Never put razor in direct sunlight or store in a pouch at a
temperature above 140ºF.

Razor is water-safe and can be rinsed under running tap water or used
in shower. Do not submerge razor in water.

The razor must be shipped prepaid by insured mail, insurance prepaid,
and have the sales slip, indicating purchase price and the date of
purchase, enclosed. The razor must be postmarked no later than 60 days
after the date of purchase. Norelco reserves the right to verify the purchase
price of the razor and limit refunds not to exceed suggested retail price.

C ◗Only use the power plug provided to charge
the razor.
◗The power plug transforms 100-240V AC to
12V DC.
◗An adaptor plug may be necessary for cord
usage in some foreign countries.Your new razor
will automatically convert internally to work on
100V to 240V AC systems.
Charging
◗Charging or recharging at temperatures below
40ºF or higher than 95ºF adversely affects
lifetime of batteries.
◗Battery performance is best if you recharge
only when batteries are (almost) completely
empty.
C1Connect the cord to razor. Plug the
charging plug into any 100V to 240V AC
outlet. Use only the charging plug
provided.
2First time charging and recharging after
non-use for 1 month or more requires a
full 8 hours.
C3The green LED charging indicator will light
up to indicate razor is (re)charging.

◗After initial charge, recharging normally takes 8

◗A fully charged razor has cordless shaving time
of up to approx. 40 minutes.
Inserting the First Cartridge
C1Take one lotion or gel cartridge.Take the
connector supplied and remove it from
the little bag. Push it into the plastic cap of
cartridge until it locks into position with a
click.
C2Push the release button on the back of
razor downwards and open the cover of
the cartridge compartment.
C3Slide the cartridge with the connector in
place into the razor. It only fits properly if
the white side of the connector is pointing
upwards. Close the cover.
4Press the applicator button a few times
until the Nivea for Men shaving lotion or
gel appears in the small hole located on
razor head assembly.The razor is now
ready for use.
Replacing Cartridges
C1Open back cover of razor.
2Remove empty cartridge, pull out and save
the connector. DO NOT discard the
connector.
