Getting Set Up

The

NTUSB

comes

with

desk

stand

and

pop

filter

get

you

and

running

without

the

need

for

any

other

equipment.

Attaching

the

Ring

Mount

and

screw

the

base

Connecting to a Computer

Plug

one

end

included

cable

into

the

USBC

port

base

microphone,

the

other

end

into

your

computer.

Connecting to a Smartphone or Tablet

devices

and

some

iOS

devices,

the

iPad

Pro),

use

the

included

cable

plug

microphone

into

it.

Using the Headphone Output

The

NTUSB

features

3.5mm

headphone

output

for

monitoring

your

audio

while

you’re

recording

streaming,

listening

back

recordings,

simply

listening

music

other

audio

playing

from

your

device.

There

are

two

different

controls

for

the

headphone

output:

level

control

and

monitor

mix

control.

The

Level

Control

Bottom)

The

level

control

simply

adjusts

the

volume

level

any

audio

sent

the

headphones

you

have

plugged

into

the

NTUSB,

including

audio

coming

from

your

computer

mobile

device

well

the

microphone

itself.

Monitor

Mix

Control

(Top)

The

top

control

adjusts

how

much

your

direct

microphone

signal

sent

your

headphones.

With

this

control

fully

counterclockwise,

you

won’t

hear

any

direct

microphone

audio

but

will

still

hear

audio

coming

from

your

device.

The

direct

microphone

signal

doesn’t

have

any

delay

echo

(also

known

‘latency’)

that

can

occur

when

then

audio

being

sent

the

computer

and

back

the

headphone

output.

Note:

While

recording

streaming,

recommend

turning

this

control

fully

clockwise

and

disabling

any

software

monitoring

your

DAW

Digital

Audio

Workstation)

streaming

software.

This

will

ensure

you

won’t

hear

distracting

echo

created

listening

NTUSB

‘Available

Microphones’

section

spaces

virtual

channels

(if

required)

dragging

them
