When the host can provide sufficient power for the LL 425 and
a 5V scanner, the interface cable assembly is set up at the factory
with a Power Selection Plug installed. To power the LL425 (and
connected devices) from an external power supply, remove the
Power Selection Plug and connect a power supply. The Scanner
Port is set at the factory for 5V on the I000A model, and 12V on
the I000B. To change this setting, refer to the LL 425

If you want to append an ENTER (CR) to all data, scan the five
bar codes below, starting at the top and working down. When
you do this, all previously stored ADF rules will be deleted.

What Does The Beep Mean?
When you hear 1 beep (short high tone) it means data has
been decoded successfully. If any other beeps are heard,
contact the technical person in charge of scanning.
What If..
Nothing happens when you follow the operating
instructions.
• Refer to the WHAT IF... table on the next page.
• Find the symptom and check the items marked with an
“x”.
If, after performing these checks the symbol still does not scan,
contact the technical person in charge of scanning.
