Installing the Trays and Element:
1. To start using the grill, begin by placing the water tray inside.
2. When the water tray is in place, slot the drip tray into place over it. This tray
gathers oil and fat while the grill is in use. Use the format of the grill base and
drip tray as guidelines when installing the tray into the unit; the tray should slot
snugly into place inside the main section of the base.
3. When both trays are correctly installed, place the heating element over the
top of the drip tray. Use the recessed notch on the side of the grilling base as a
guide when installing the heating element; the element is correctly installed
when the control panel is slotted into this notch and sitting flush inside it.
Installing the Plates:
1. This unit is equipped with 2 plates: a grill plate, ideal for bacon, egg and
pancakes, and a grill plate, ideal for steaks, meat skewers, sausages and corn on
the cob.
2. When the trays and element are in place, the grill or griddle plate can be
installed.
Note: Only one plate can be installed at one time. DO NOT install both plates into
the unit at the same time.
3. To install the grill or griddle plate, place it over the heating element until it sits
flush atop it.
4. Once the corresponding plate has been installed, insert the power cable into
its corresponding jack on the side of the unit, underneath the control panel.
5. When the power cable is correctly attached to the grill, place the lid onto the
unit and connect it to an active mains socket.
6. The smokeless grill is now ready for normal use.
