Important Security Warning
In order to keep your Wansview camera secure and prevent unauthorized access, please make sure
to follow the steps below:
1. The camera has always the latest firmware installed. If we update the firmware, we upload it on
www.wansview.com/Service/download/
2. Change the default password for your camera. We suggest that your password is more than 8-10
characters and contains a combinaon of lowercase characters, uppercase characters and
numbers.
Important Safeguards and Warnings
1. Electrical Safety
All installaon and operaon should conform to your local electrical safety codes.
We assume no liability or responsibility for any fires or electrical shock caused by improper
handling or installaon.
2. Transportaon Safety
Heavy stress, violent vibraons, and excess moisture should not occur during transportaon,
storage, and installaon of the device.
3. Installaon
Handle the device with care. Keep the device right side up.
Do not apply power to the camera before compleng installaon.
Do not place objects on top of the camera.
4. Repair Professionals
All inspecon and repair work should be done by qualified service engineers.
We are not liable for any problems caused by unauthorized modificaons or user-aempted repair.

6. Operaon and Maintenance
Do not touch the camera sensor or lens directly.
To clean dust or dirt off of the lens, use an air blower or a microfiber cloth.
7. Accessories
Be sure to use only the accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
Before installaon, please open the package and check to ensure that all of the components are
included.
Contact us if anything is broken or missing in the package.
8. Baery Drainage and Data Consumpon
Please remember to exit the app aer use, to prevent baery drainage and data consumpon.

2. Camera Management with Smartphones/Tablets
2.1 Wansview App for iOS and Android
Go to the App Store and install the “Wansview” app. Install the antenna and connect the camera to
the power source with the provided adapter. Users can connect cameras by Ethernet RJ-45 cables or
through Wi-Fi network. In general, cable connecon offers beer video quality.
Note: Wansview App Pictures are taken on the iOS Version. Android and iOS App have the same
structure but a lile different design.
Cable Setup
Steps for product connecon:
1. Install antenna for IP camera.
2. Connect the IP camera and router with the network cable.
3. Power on the camera with the provided adapter (please verify voltage).
3. Launch the Wansview app and click on . Scan the QR Code and input default user name (admin)
and password (123456).

·Launch the Wansview app, click to access Add Camera page and select “Add camera via wired
method”, then follow the wizard step by step.

Add already connrected network camera
·Scan the QR code on the camera’s scker, then “name camera” , keep “admin” as login name and
“123456” as the default password, then “Next”.
“Connect Success, do you want to Set up WiFi” will appear, if you do not need to set up WiFi, click
“Cancel”, then you will get camera “online”

If it says "connect fail", please check whether you scanned the correct QR code and if
Camera's Ethernet cable Port has flashing lights.
