Montage und Inbetriebnahme
Dieses Symbol bedeutet: „Gebrauchsanweisung beachten“. Um präzise
Ergebnisse zu erzielen, lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig durch
und folgen Sie den darin enthaltenen Instruktionen. Bewahren Sie die
Gebrauchsanweisung für späteres Nachschlagen auf.
Ihr ADE Messstab ist ein Qualitätsprodukt und ein Längenmessinstrument. Sie benutzen ihn
zur Ermittlung der Länge von Erwachsenen und Kindern an der Wand. usammen mit einer
Waage verfügen Sie über eine zuverlässige und langlebige Mess- und Wiegestation, die
Ihnen die Ermittlung des Gesundheitszustandes Ihres Patienten zuverlässig erleichtert.

Montageanleitung:
Befestigung an der Wand:
1) Schieben Sie die schwarzen Abstandshalter in die offenen Enden des
Fersenanschlages. Das Abstandsstück muss auf der Seite mit den Bohrlöchern
fixiert werden.
2) Schieben Sie den Hackenanschlag über das untere Ende des Messstabes.
Befestigen Sie Ihn mit den 2 beigefügten kleinen Schrauben.
3) Bitte wählen Sie eine ebene und gleichmäßige Fläche an der Wand aus.
4) Schieben Sie den Messstab vollständig raus.
5) Positionieren Sie den Messstab mit einer Wasserwaage vertikal an der Wand. Der
Hackenanschlag liegt auf dem Boden auf.
6) Markieren Sie jetzt die hinter dem Messstab liegende Wand mit einem langen,
dünnen Gegenstand durch die obere Bohrung des Messstabes (bei ca. 122 cm auf
der Skala). Benutzen Sie eine Wasserwaage.
7) Bohren Sie mit einem Bohrer passender Größe.
8) Stecken Sie die beiden Dübel in die gebohrten Löcher.
9) Schieben Sie die Schrauben durch die beiden dafür vorgesehenen Löcher in dem
Messstab und benutzen Sie die Schwarzen Abstandshalter um einen gleichmäßigen
Abstand zur Wand zu erhalten.
10) Damit der Fersenanschlag nicht bei den Messungen beschädigt wird muss er durch
die schwarzen Abstandshalter gegen die Wand abgestützt werden.

Folgen Sie den Hinweisen der Bedienungsanleitung.
Nach dem Messvorgang klappen Sie die Messzunge bitte immer nach unten, um einer
eventuellen Verletzungsgefahr vorzubeugen.
Bedienung
1) Bringen Sie die Messzunge in eine horizontale Position.
2) Schieben Sie die Messzunge nach oben bis über die Länge der zu messenden
Person.
3) Stellen Sie die zu messende Peron unter die Messzunge.
4) Schieben Sie die Messzunge nach unten bis über den Kopf der Person.
5) Entnehmen Sie das Ergebnis dem Auslesepunkt.

Garantie:
ADE wird dieses Produkt reparieren oder ersetzen, wenn bewiesen werden kann, dass es
innerhalb von 2 Jahren vom Verkaufsdatum (Kaufbeleg ist erforderlich) durch mangelnde
Arbeitsqualität oder defektes Material versagt hat. Alle beweglichen Teile, wie z.B. Batterien,
Kabel, Netzgeräte, Akkus etc., sind hiervon ausgenommen. Die Garantie umfasst keine
äußeren normalen Abnutzungs- und Verschleißerscheinungen oder durch Unfall oder
Missbrauch verursachte Beschädigungen. Für Geräte, die durch Unbefugte geöffnet wurden,
greift die Garantie nicht. Die gesetzlich geregelten Rechte des Kunden werden durch diese
Garantievereinbarung in keiner Hinsicht angegriffen.

Installation and use of height rod
This symbol means: "Consult operating instructions". To achieve accurate
results, read the instructions for use carefully before use and follow all
instructions provided therein. Keep the instructions for use for future
reference.
Your ADE height measuring rod is a quality product. For measuring the length of adults and
children the height measuring rod can either be used at your ADE column scale or can be
fixed directly to the wall.

Installation
Assembling to the wall:
1) Place the black spacers into the open ends of the foot positioner. The spacer must
be placed with the long distance piece on the side with the boreholes.
2) Push the foot positioner gently into the designated lower end of the measuring rod.
Fix same with the two small screws.
3) Select a plane and level location at the wall.
4) Pull out the measuring rod until both boreholes are free.
5) Place the measuring rod with a water-level vertical at the wall.
6) Mark the drill holes at the wall through the wholes at the measuring rod.
7) Drill using a matching drill bit.
8) Insert the two anchors into the wall.
9) Insert now the two long screws through the holes into the measuring rod.
10) Put the round spacers over the screws between the rod and the wall.
11) Screw the screws into the anchors very tightly.
12) The foot positioner must be supported against the wall by the two black spacers.
Safety advice
Follow the instructions of the Operating Manual.
After finishing the measurement make sure to fold the measuring tongue down to avoid
danger of injury.
Operating Instructions
1) Adjust the measuring tongue to a horizontal position.
2) Slide the measuring tongue up to over the length of the person to be measured.
3) Place the person to be measured under the measuring tongue.
4) Slide the measuring tongue down to the person’s head.
5) Take the result from the readout point.

Warranty – Liability
ADE will repair or replace this product within a period of 2 years from date of delivery
applying to defects occurred due to poor material or workmanship (presentation of invoice is
necessary). All moveable parts – batteries, cables, mains units, rechargeable batteries etc. –
are excluded. Warranty does not include natural wear, damages caused by incorrect or
negligent handling, overuse or unsuitable or improper storage. The cost of transport will be
borne by the customer should the equipment be located anywhere other than the customer’s
premises. In the event of transport damage, claims under warranty can be accepted subject
to using the complete original packaging and the equipment secured the way it was packed
and secured originally. All the packaging should therefore be retained.
Any warranty claim will be rejected if the equipment is opened by persons not authorized
expressively by ADE to do so.
Customers abroad are kindly requested to contact their local dealer for any warranty claim,
customer service and spare parts.

Vous l'utilisez pour déterminer la taille de personnes adutes et d'enfants, soit en la fixant au
mur. En l'associant à la balance, vous bénéficierez d'un poste de mesure et de pesée sûr
pour longtemps, ce qui vous aidera à établir un diagnostic de santé fiable pour vos patients.

Consignes de montage
Fixation au mur :
1) Placez les entretoises noires dans les extrémités ouvertes du positionneur de pied.
L'entretoise doit être placée avec la pièce de grande distance sur le côté avec les
trous de forage.
2) Poussez doucement le positionneur de pied dans l'extrémité inférieure désignée de
la tige de mesure. Fixez-le avec les deux petites vis.
3) Choisissez un emplacement plan et de niveau sur le mur.
4) Tirez sur la tige de mesure jusqu'à ce que les deux trous de forage soient libres.
5) Placez la tige de mesure avec un niveau d'eau vertical sur le mur.
6) Marquez les trous de forage au mur à travers les trous de la tige de mesure.
7) Percez à l'aide d'un foret adapté.
8) Insérez les deux ancrages dans le mur.
9) Insérez maintenant les deux vis longues dans les trous de la tige de mesure.
10) Placez les entretoises rondes sur les vis entre la tige et le mur.
11) Visser très fermement les vis dans les ancrages.
12) Le positionneur de pied doit être soutenu contre le mur par les deux entretoises
noires.
Consignes de sécurité :
Suivez les instructions du manuel d'utilisation.
Après avoir terminé la mesure, veillez à rabattre la languette de mesure pour éviter tout
risque de blessure.
Utilisation
1) Réglez la languette de mesure en position horizontale.
2) Faites glisser la languette de mesure vers le haut pour la faire passer au-dessus de
la longueur de la personne à mesurer.
3) Placez la personne à mesurer sous la languette de mesure.
4) Faites glisser la langue de mesure vers le bas jusqu'à la tête de la personne.
5) Relevez le résultat sur le point de lecture.
