VERWENDUNGSZWECK

Dieses Werkzeug dient zum Einziehen von Lagerschalen an Lenkköpfen und Tretkurbeln bei

Fahrrädern.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

•Tragen Sie beim Arbeiten mit diesem Werkzeugsatz immer Handschuhe und Schutzbrille.

•Achten Sie beim Arbeiten auf einen sicheren und rutschfesten Stand.

•Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig den Zustand des Werkzeugs und benutzen Sie es nicht, wenn es

beschädigt ist.

•Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Werkzeug ordnungsgemäß montiert ist.

•Spindel nicht übermäßig festziehen oder übermäßige Kraft anwenden, da hierdurch sowohl das

Werkzeug als auch das Bauteil beschädigt werden kann.

•Verwenden Sie das Werkzeug nur für Arbeiten, für die es vorgesehen ist.

•Beachten Sie die allgemein gültigen Sicherheitshinweise.

•Fetten Sie immer das Spindelgewinde, ehe Sie das Werkzeug verwenden.

•Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Arbeitsbereich ausreichend beleuchtet ist.

VERWENDUNG

1. Demontieren Sie das gelagerte Bauteil (Gabel, Tretkurbel).

2. Entfernen Sie das defekte, alte Lager.

3. Öffnen Sie die Verriegelung am Stufendruckstück (4), drehen Sie dazu die

Scheibe nach rechts, von der verriegelten (4a) in die geöffnete (4b) Stellung,

um die Durchgangsbohrung freizumachen.

4. Setzen Sie das Stufendruckstück (4), mit dem kleinen Durchmesser voran,

auf die Spindelseite mit Einstellnuten.

5. Wählen Sie die gewünschte Nut aus und verriegeln Sie das Stufendruckstück

(4) wieder. Die Auswahl der Nut kann bei der Montage des Lagers im

Nachhinein noch geändert werden. Zum Umsetzen in eine andere Nut muss

das Werkzeug spannungsfrei sein.

6. Setzen Sie eine der neuen Lagerschalen auf das Stufendruckstück (4). Achten Sie dabei auf

korrekte Ausrichtung der Lagerschale.

7. Nehmen Sie nun die vormontierte Spindel-/Druckstück-Einheit und setzen Sie die Spindel, mit

der Gewindeseite voran, in das Lagerrohr ein.

8. Setzen Sie die andere, neue Lagerschale auf die Spindel, achten Sie dabei auf korrekte

Ausrichtung der Lagerschale.

9. Installieren Sie die Stufendruckscheibe (2), mit dem kleinen Durchmesser voran, auf die Spindel

(3).

10. Drehen Sie die Spindelmutter mit Knebel (1), mit der silbernen Seite voran, auf die Spindel und

spannen Sie das Werkzeug leicht vor.

11. Kontrollieren Sie den korrekten Sitz des Werkzeugs und der Lagerschalen.

Ziehen Sie die Lagerschalen, durch Drehen der Spindelmutter im Uhrzeigersinn, in das Lagerrohr

ein.

12. Die Druckscheiben (5) können, wenn notwendig, zusätzlich zum Ausgleichen verwendet werden.

Press tool for bearing shells

ATTENTION

INTENDED USE

This tool is used to pull in bearing shells on joint heads and pedal cranks for bicycles.

SAFETY NOTES

•When working with this tool set, always wear gloves and safety glasses.

•When working, ensure for a safe and anti-slip stand.

•Check the state of the tool at regular intervals and do not use it if damaged.

•Make sure that the tool is mounted correctly.

•Do not over tighten or apply excessive force to the spindle as this could otherwise damage the

tool as well as the component.

•Use the tool only for work it is intended for.

•Observe the generally applicable safety instructions.

•Grease the spindle thread before using the tool.

•Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.

•Do not let any children play with this tool or its packaging.

•Make sure that the work area is sufficiently illuminated.

•Keep the work area clean, organised, dry and free from other materials.

•Do allow untrained persons work with this tool set.

USE

1. Disassemble the supported component (fork, pedal crank).

2. Remove the defective, old bearing.

3. Open the lock on the step pressure piece (4), for this purpose turn the disk to

the right from the locked (4a) into the opened (4b) position in order to expose

the through hole.

4. With the smaller diameter ahead, place the step pressure piece (4) on the

spindle side with adjustment grooves.

5. Select the desired groove and lock the step pressure piece (4) again. The

selection of the groove can still be changed when assembling the bearing.

For moving to another groove, the tool must be tension free.

6. Place one of the new bearing shells onto the step pressure piece (4). In doing so, ensure for the

correct alignment of the bearing shell.

7. Now take the pre-assembled spindle / pressure piece unit and insert the spindle into the bearing

tube with the thread side ahead.

8. Place the other new bearing shell onto the spindle, in doing so, ensure for the correct alignment

of the bearing shell.

9. Install the step pressure disk (2) on the spindle (3) with the small diameter ahead.

10. Turn the spindle nut with handle (1) onto the spindle with the silver side ahead, and pre-tension

the tool slightly.

11. Check the correct seating of the tool and bearing shells.

By turning the spindle nut clockwise, pull the bearing shells into the bearing tube.

12. The pressure disks (5) also be used as compensation, if necessary.

UTILISATION PRÉVUE

Cet outil permet d’insérer des coquilles de roulements sur les têtes de direction et les pédaliers de

bicyclettes.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ

•Portez toujours des gants et des lunettes de protection lorsque vous allez travailler avec cet

outil.

•Veillez à adopter une posture ferme et bien stable pendant les travaux.

•Vérifiez régulièrement l’état de l’outil et ne l’utilisez pas s’il est endommagé.

•Assurez-vous que l’outil est correctement monté.

•Ne serrez pas excessivement la broche et n’y appliquez pas une force exagérée, car cela

endommagerait autant l’outil que le composant sur lequel vous travaillez.

•N’utilisez l’outil que pour les travaux pour lesquels il a été conçu.

•Respectez les consignes générales de sécurité en vigueur.

•Lubrifiez toujours le filetage de la broche avec de la graisse et avant d’utiliser l’outil.

•Maintenez à l’écart les enfants et toutes les autres personnes non autorisées de la zone de

travail.

•Ne permettez jamais que des enfants jouent avec ce produit ou avec son emballage.

•Assurez-vous que la zone de travail est suffisamment éclairée.

UTILISATION

1. Démontez le composant monté sur roulement (fourche, pédalier).

2. Retirez l’ancien roulement défectueux.

3. Ouvrez le verrou sur le poussoir épaulé (4) en tournant la bague vers la

droite, de la position verrouillée (4a) à la position ouverte (4b) pour dégager

le trou traversant.

4. Placez le poussoir épaulé (4), avec le petit diamètre d’abord, sur le côté de la

broche avec les rainures de réglage.

5. Sélectionnez la rainure appropriée et reverrouillez le poussoir épaulé (4). La

sélection de la rainure peut être modifiée par après, lors du montage du

roulement. Pour passer à une autre rainure, l’outil ne doit pas être contraint.

6. Placez l’une des nouvelles coquilles de roulement sur le poussoir épaulé (4). Veillez à

l’alignement correct de la coquille de roulement.

7. Ensuite, prenez l’ensemble broche/poussoir épaulé préassemblé et insérez la broche avec le

côté fileté en avant dans le tube de roulement.

8. Placez l’autre coquille de roulement neuve sur la broche, en veillant à ce qu’il soit correctement

aligné.

9. Installez le poussoir épaulé (2), avec le petit diamètre à l’avant, sur la broche (3).

10. Tournez l’écrou de vis de traction à l’aide du levier (1), avec le côté argenté vers l’avant, sur la

broche et préserrez légèrement l’outil.

11. Vérifiez le bon ajustement de l’outil et des coquilles de roulement.

Tirez les coquilles de roulement dans le tube de roulement en tournant l’écrou de vis de traction

dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.

12. Si nécessaire, les bagues de pression (5) peuvent également être utilisées en tant que bague de

compensation.

USO PREVISTO

Esta herramienta sirve para insertar los casquillos de cojinetes en los cabezales de dirección y las

bielas de los pedales de las bicicletas.

INDICACIONES DE SEGURIDAD

•Durante el trabajo asegúrese de estar en una posición segura y sin peligro de deslizamiento.

APLICACIÓN

1. Desmonte el componente montado (horquilla, biela de los pedales).

2. Retire el cojinete defectuoso y antiguo.

3. Abra el bloqueo de la pieza de presión escalonada (4) girando el disco hacia

la derecha, desde la posición bloqueada (4a) a la abierta (4b), para liberar el

orificio de paso.

4. Coloque la pieza de presión escalonada (4), con el diámetro pequeño

primero, en el lado del husillo con ranuras de ajuste.te.

5. Seleccione la ranura deseada y vuelva a bloquear la pieza de presión

escalonada (4). La selección de la ranura aún puede ser cambiada más

tarde durante el montaje del cojinete. Para el cambio a otra ranura, la

herramienta debe estar sin tensión.

6. Coloque uno de los nuevos casquillos de cojinete en la pieza de presión escalonada (4).

Asegúrese de que el casquillo del cojinete esté correctamente alineado.

7. Ahora tome la unidad de husillo/pieza de presión premontada e inserte el husillo, con el lado de

la rosca primero, en el tubo del cojinete.

8. Coloque el otro casquillo de cojinete nuevo en el husillo, asegurándose de que el casquillo de

cojinete esté correctamente alineado.

9. Coloque el disco de presión escalonado (2), de pequeño diámetro primero, en el husillo (3).

10. Gire la tuerca del husillo con la palanca (1), con el lado plateado primero, sobre el husillo y

apriete ligeramente la herramienta.

11. Compruebe que la herramienta y los cojinetes estén correctamente colocados.

Introduzca los casquillos de los cojinetes en el tubo del cojinete girando la tuerca del husillo en el

sentido de las agujas del reloj.

12. Si es necesario, las arandelas de presión (5) también pueden utilizarse como compensación.
