The housing of theproduct can become very hot duringuse.
• Never leave theproduct unattended duringuse.
• Never attempt to put out anoil fire withwater. Unplug
themains lead and smother thefire using afire blanket or
wettowel.
• Ensure that theproduct is used with thecorrect voltage.
Referto therating plate on theproduct.
• The product should only be connected to a220–240 V,
50/60 Hz mains outlet protected by a30 mA residual-current
circuit breaker (RCD).
• Always unplug theproduct from thewall outlet before
cleaning it or when it is not to be used for alongtime.
• Do not open thehousing. Certain unshielded components
inside thehousing carry dangerous voltages. Contact with
these components could result in electricshock.
• Never use theproduct if it is in any way damaged or not
working properly or if themains lead or plug is damaged.
Donot use theproduct if you have dropped it on thefloor
or into water or other liquid.
• Do not pull or carry theproduct by its mainslead. Donot use
thelead as ahandle and make sure that it is not crushed.
Donot pull thelead around sharp corners oredges.
• The product becomes very hot duringuse. Becareful not to
touch any hot parts with your barehands. Nevertouch parts
of theproduct other than thehandle.
• Never use theproduct if your hands are moist orwet.
• Never use theproduct if it iswet.
• Make sure that theparts of theproduct are correctly assem-
bled and that theproduct is switched off before connecting it
to thepower supply.
• Make sure that themains lead does not come in contact with
hot surfaces such as cookerhobs.
• Never move theproduct while it contains hotoil.
