1. Safety
• Warning! Theproduct is powered by one rechargeable 3.7 V lithium-
ion battery. Donot attempt to replace thebattery with conventional or
rechargeable R03 battery as this may permanently damage theproduct.
Ifthebattery needs to be replaced, this must be done by aqualified
technician. Thereis awarning label over thebattery compartment. Ifthis
has been removed or damaged, thewarranty is void.
• Never expose theproduct to high temperatures, adusty environment,
severe vibrations, impacts, humidity and moisture.
• Have thebattery replaced if theproduct switches itself off or if nothing
happens when you press abutton.
• Avoid using theproduct in very dry surroundings where static electricity
may easily form.
• Do not dismantle or modify theproduct in any way.
• Warning! Donot use theproduct in such away that your attention is
reduced when you are in traffic and are driving acar, motorcycle, etc.
Donot use theproduct at such high volume that you are at risk because
you are distracted when walking, cycling or running.
• Switch off theheadphone and be sure to pay full attention to your
surroundings if you are crossing aroad or are in ahazardous traffic situation.
• Protect your hearing. Listeningwith thevolume set too high for along time
may result in permanent damage to your hearing.
• We cannot accept liability for lost data files on thememory cards that you use.
Itis theuser’s responsibility to take thenecessary steps to avoid data loss.
Makefrequent backups of your data files on different storage media.

2. Description
• Stereo headphone with built–in noise-cancelling function (active noise
control, ANC) to reduce unwanted sounds from thesurroundings, eg noisy
environments, aircraft, trains, etc.
• Built-in MP3 player (a memory card is needed for theMP3 files) which
supports MP3/WMA format.
• Socket for SD/SDHC memory card (sold separately).
• Comes with a1.4 m connecting lead with a3.5 mm gold-plated
stereojack, aUSB lead and an airline adapter.
• Built-in rechargeable battery for aplaying time of up to 10 hours.

5. Use
5.1 Connection
Connect theUSB lead supplied to theUSB socket (4) on theheadphone
and aUSB socket on thecomputer. Ifyou have inserted amemory card into
theheadphone, its content will be displayed in thecomputer’s Explorer or
equivalent program. Youcan copy music files to thememory card or delete
them in theusual way.
Do not disconnect theheadphone when files are being read or transferred.
Thismay damage theheadphone or thememory card.
5.2 Charging
Connect theUSB lead supplied to theUSB socket (4) on theheadphone
and aUSB socket on thecomputer. Thebattery is charged via theUSB
socket on thecomputer. Thecharging time is about three hours. Duringchar-
ging, thered LED flashes. Whencharging is complete, theLED changes to
asteady light and float charging begins. Chargethebattery fully before you
use theheadphone.

5.3 MP3 player
Open therubber cover on theunderside
and insert an SD/SDHC memory card
(sold separately) into thesocket (9) on
theheadphone. Ifthememory card
contains music files you can listen to them
straight away: Hold down [ /; ] for about
5to 6 seconds to start theMP3 player.
Thered LED lights up and playback starts
automatically with thefirst track on thecard.
The MP3 player is controlled with
themulti-controller.
• Press theupper part [ + ] or
thelowerpart [ - ] to increase or
reducethevolume.
• Press [ : ] or [ 9 ] to move forward or
back in theplaylist.
• Press [ /; ] to start or pause playback.
5.4 Noise cancelling function (ANC)
The headphone has afunction which reduces unwanted noise from
thesurroundings when activated. Thefunction is controlled with
theANCswitch (3). Movetheswitch (3) to ON to activate thefunction and
toOFF to de-activate it. WhentheANC function is active, ablue LED is lit.
NOTE: Power consumption is higher when thenoise cancelling function is
used, so theplaying time is reduced.
5.5 Use as conventional headphones connected
to an external sound source
Connect on 3.5 mm stereo jack to theheadphone socket of theaudio source
and thejack on theother end to thesocket (8) under thesmall rubber cover
on theheadphone.

6. Troubleshooting
