Safety
• The Bluetooth receiver should only be repaired by qualified service personnel.
• The product should not be taken apart or modified. Certainexposed parts
inside thecasing carry dangerous current. Contactwith these can lead to fire
or electric shock.
• The product is designed for indoor useonly.
• Never subject theBluetooth receiver to high temperature, dust, heavy
vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.
Description
Pairing with aBluetooth device
1. Firstread theinstruction manual of thedevice which is to be paired with
theBluetooth receiver.
2. Plugthe Bluetooth receiver into awall socket. TheBluetooth indicator (3) will
start to flash indicating that theBluetooth receiver is in pairing mode.
3. Activate theBluetooth function on thedevice to be paired (linked) with
theBluetooth receiver. Makesure that thedevice which is to be paired with
theBluetooth receiver is no more than 1 metre away fromit.
4. Thepairing device scans for Bluetooth devices and any devices found will be
shown on thedisplay. SelectBTRO11.
5. Whenthe Bluetooth indicator (3) flashes twice every fourth second thepairing
is complete.
6. Ifprompted for aPIN code, enter 0000. Somedevices require that you
accept thepairing by pressing YES or Confirm.
• Note: TheBluetooth receiver’s pairing mode is active for 2 minutes, if within
this time thepairing process has not been completed thereceiver returns to
standby mode. Unplugit from thewall socket and then plug it back in again
to activate thepairing mode.
• Note: TheBluetooth receiver can hold up to 8 devices in its memory, if
anadditional device is paired, it will replace thefirst device in thememory.
• If thedistance between theBluetooth receiver and theconnected device
becomes too great, theBluetooth receiver will enter standby mode. Ifthe
Bluetooth receiver and theconnected device come back in range of each
other again within 5 minutes they will be paired again automatically.
Charging from theUSBport
Connect theproduct to be charged to thecharging port. Usea suitable USBcable.
The output of thecharging port is 5 V DC, 1A.
The Bluetooth indicator
Shows theBluetooth receiver’s function.
• The Bluetooth indicator flashes continuously in pairing mode.
• The Bluetooth indicator flashes once every other second in standby mode
(no device is connected).
• The Bluetooth indicator flashes twice every fourth second in active mode (a
device is connected and ready for use).
Care and maintenance
Always unplug theBluetooth receiver’s mains lead before cleaning.
Clean theBluetooth receiver using asoft, moist cloth. Usea mild detergent and
never use solvents or strong, abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning as these can
damage theBluetooth receiver.
Troubleshooting
Why can’t theBluetooth receiver pair with my telephone?
• Check that theBluetooth receiver is in pairing mode.
• The Bluetooth receiver’s pairing mode is active for 2 minutes, if within this
time thepairing process has not been completed thereceiver returns to
standby mode. Unplugit from thewall socket and then plug it back in again
to activate thepairing mode.
Why does my telephone not automatically connect to theBluetooth receiver?
• If you have been out of range of theBluetooth receiver for less than 5
minutes, thepairing should take place automatically. Ifyou have been out of
theBluetooth receiver’s range for more than 5 minutes, you must connect
manually from your telephone.

Operating instructions
BTR011 is aBluetooth receiver which enables you to listen to music on amusic
player which doesn’t support Bluetooth. Thesignal is transmitted wirelessly from
aBluetooth-enabled telephone, tablet, etc to theBluetooth receiver and then to
your HiFi, TV, etc via acable connected to theline-out socket.
1. Plug theBluetooth receiver into awall socket.
2. Pair theBluetooth receiver with your Bluetooth-enabled phone/ transmitter.

3. Connect anexternal audio player/HiFi system to theline-out socket via
acable with a3.5 mmplug.
4. Music can now be transmitted from theBluetooth-enabled transmitter device
to theaudio player/HiFi system.
