equipmentunlessyouaretrained,qualied,
andhavereadandunderstoodtheinformation
inthismanualsandintheuidmanufacturer’s
applicationinstructionsandSDS.
•Useofincorrectlymaintainedormis-adjusted
equipmentmayresultinimproperlycured
material.Equipmentmustbecarefully
maintainedandadjustedaccordingto
instructionsinthemanual.
•Topreventinhalationofisocynatemists,vapors,
andatomizedparticulates,everyoneinthe
workareamustwearappropriaterespiratory
protection.Alwayswearaproperlytting
respirator,whichmayincludeasupplied-air
respirator.Ventilatetheworkareaaccordingto
instructionsintheuidmanufacturer’sSDS.
•Avoidallskincontactwithiscocyanates.
Everyoneintheworkareamustwearchemically
impermeablegloves,protectiveclothingand
footcoveringsasrecommendedbytheuid
manufacturerandlocalregulatoryauthority.
Followalluidmanufacturerrecommendations,
includingthoseregardinghandlingof
contaminatedclothing.Afterspraying,wash
handsandfacebeforeeatingordrinking.
