• CAUTION: The use of an optical instrument with this product will increase eye hazard.
• ALWAYS BE AWARE of the location where the laser light is emitted when using the distance
measurer.
• ALWAYS MAKE SURE that any bystanders in the vicinity of use are made aware of the dangers of
looking directly into the laser beam.
• Avoid direct eye exposure when using the laser and do not project the laser beam directly into the
eyes of others. Serious eye injury could result.
• Do not remove or deface any product labels. Removing product labels increases the risk of
exposure to laser radiation.
• Do not place the laser distance measurer in a position that may cause anyone to stare into the laser
beam intentionally or unintentionally. Serious eye injury could result.
• Do not operate the laser distance measurer around children or allow children to operate the tool.

• Always turn the laser distance measurer off when not in use. Leaving the tool on increases the risk
of someone inadvertently staring into the laser beam.
• Do not operate the laser distance measurer in combustible areas such as in the presence of

• Always ensure the laser beam is aimed at a surface without reflective properties. Shiny reflective
materials are not suitable for laser use.
• Handle the laser distance measurer with care. Treat it as you would any other optical device such
as a camera or binoculars.
• Avoid exposing the laser distance measurer to shock, continuous vibration or extreme hot or cold
temperatures. Damage to the tool and/or serious injury to the user could result.
• Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and use them to instruct others who may use this

TURNING ON/OFF
• To switch on the measuring tool, push down the On button.

When switching on the measuring tool, the laser beam is switched on. The laser indicator flashes on
the display.
Note: The measuring tool automatically switches off after approx. 60 seconds without operation.
MEASURING
• After the measuring tool is switched on, aim the laser beam at the target surface.
• Push down On button to measure.
Note: Measurements are taken from the rear edge of the tool.

After the measuring tool is switched on, push down and hold On button for approx. 5 seconds to turn
it off.

WARRANTY
For 3 year from the date of purchase, the product is warranted for the original purchaser to be free
from defects in material and workmanship. This guarantee does not cover damage due to abuse,
normal wear, improper maintenance, neglect, unauthorized repair/alteration, or expendable parts
and accessories expected to become unusable after a reasonable period of use.
If you think your product meets the above guarantee criteria, please return it to the place of
purchase with valid proof of purchase and the defective product will be repaired or replaced at no
charge. This guarantee gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that
vary from state to state.
MAINTENANCE
Store the laser distance measurer indoors.
Keep the laser distance measurer free of dust and liquids. Use a damp cloth and mild soap to
clean the outside casing. Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are
susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their
use.
To clean the laser lens, if needed, use ONLY a soft cloth or cotton swab moistened with glass
cleaner.
Do not disassemble the laser distance measurer. This could cause exposure to hazardous laser
radiation.
Do not attempt to change any part of the laser lens.

CHANGING THE UNIT OF MEASURE
• After the measuring tool is switched on, push down and hold On button for approx. 3 seconds to
change the unit.
Note: The unit of measure can be changed any time, even for measured values.
CHARGING
• Connect the USB cable properly to charge the measuring tool. Battery Indicator flashes when
charging
• When Battery Indicator stops flashing, the charging is completed. Remove the USB Cable.
