Magnetic Ground

The magnetic ground is made up of a magnet and a spade

connector.

The magnet must be connected to the vehicle body and the

spade connector is used to slide over the magnetic point of the

antenna.

Connect the Magnetic Ground to the metallic part of the

Antenna box.

Step 1: Installing the magnetic ground

Before installing the main antenna, the magnetic ground will

need to be installed. To do this, the magnetic end of the ground

will need to become connected to a magnetic part of the car.

Slide this magnetic part facing upwards between the roof lining

and the car roof at the top of the window screen for the best

results.

The magnetic spade part of the magnetic ground should now

hang from the top of the car window screen ready for the next

step.

Now connect the magnetic spade to the metallic point at the

top of the antenna box. Do this by ensuring that the plastic of

the magnetic spade entirely overlaps the metallic point of the

antenna.
