D - SETTING UP BOILER -PACKAGEDUNITS
1. A PackagedBoiler isfactoryassembledbeforebeingcrated.Allcontrolsand accessoriesnecessaryfor operationof the boilerareattachedand
electricallywired.
2. Thedraft hoodis packedin a separatecarton.
3. Whenboileris removedfromthe crate,carefulinspectionshouldbe madeandthecarriernotifiedofanydamagefound.
4. Provideagoodlevelfoundation.
5. Placethe boileronthe foundationnearand inproperpositionwith relationtothe chimney,andascentralizedwith respecttothe heatingsystemas
practical,
6. Theopeningsin thebasesidesareprovidedfor admittingsecondaryairand mustneverbeclosed.
7. Removeiackettop andattachdrafthoodto fluecollectorwithtwo #10x 1/2"sheetmetalscrewsprovided.Replacejackettop.
8. The burnersareinstalledin the boiler.Theyaresecuredin placefor shipmentbywoodstripewiradtothe Burnermixingtube.Cutthewiresand
removethewood strips.
9. The gasmanifoldandocntrolassemblyaremadeup gastight,completelyfactoryassembledand installedasintegralcomponentsof thebase
assembly.See Figure12.
