Overview

This document describes communication procedure related to

communication method that enables intercommunication

between Laboratory Host System, hereinafter referred to as

HOST, and cobas c 311 analyzer. Specification and software

described herein comply with the following ASTM

communication protocol: (HOST communication ASTM

higher-layer: High-Level, lower-layer: Low-Level I/F

specification)

Host Communication Setting

Select “Yes/No” at “Host Communication” on Start Conditions

screen.

Select condition of HOST communication on [Utility]-

[System]-[Host Communication Setting] window. The setting

is only changeable when “Host Communication” is off.
