RG-N18000-Xseries switchesareRuijie-developednext-generationcoreswitches.Based onmatrixseparation,theyuse

the Clos architectureandsupportalarge buffer. They supportdual supervisormodulesand redundancyof power

modules,switchfabricmodules,andfanmodules.

The RG-N18018-X: has 18transverseslots,andprovides dualsupervisormodules,16linecardslots,16power

modules,sixswitchfabricmodules,andthreefan modules.

The RG-N18010-X: has 10transverseslots,supportsdualsupervisormodules,eightlinecard slots,eightpower

modules,sixswitchfabricmodules andthreefanmodules.

The RG-N18006-X: has sixtransverse slots,supports dual supervisormodules,fourlinecardslots,four power

modules,sixswitchfabricmodules,andthree fan modules.

The power module supports reversible HVDC. When the equipment room uses HVDC,

do it in a reverseway.

The RG-N18018-Xprovides two supervisormodule slots,16 linecardslots,and sixswitchfabricmoduleslots.The

supervisormodulessupport1+1redundancy. You are advisedto configureredundancyfor the supervisormodules.

You canselectdifferentline cards as needed.

Fan trays are at the rear of the chassis.Line cards and supervisormodules areon thefront of the chassis.

DC powersupplyinput:The RG-PD2400Ipowermoduleis supported.This powermodulesupports power

management.ThesupervisormoduleoftheRG-N18018-Xcan read powersupplyinformationandimplement

flexible andintelligentpowermanagement.

The RG-N18018-Xsupports powermodulesin N+Mredundancymodeto improvethe system stabilityand reliability.

You are advised to configure N+M redundancyfor powermodules.

Heat Dissipation System

The operating environmenttemperatureofthe RG-N18018-Xranges between 0°C (32°F) and 45°C (113°F). The thermal

designmustsatisfythe requirementon the device's reliabilityin the temperature rangewhileensuringthe device's safety

andmaintainability.The RG-N18018-Xuses fans todrawair for forced convectioncooling,ensuringthatthe device works

properlyinthe specifiedenvironment.
