Pump does not run
Pump not switched on. ➔Switch the pump on via the on/ off switch.
Hydromat has shut down. ➔Press the reset button. If the water is not pumped after approx.
10=s, press the reset button until water emerges.
No mains voltage. ➔Check cable, plug, socket and fuse.
Mains voltage too low. ➔Use extension cable with sufficient wire size.
Motor overheated, motor protection activated.
➔fter cooling down, the unit will switch itself on again.
➔Ensure adequate ventilation, keep air vents free.
➔Observe maximum inlet temperature.
Motor hums, does not start. ➔With the motor switched off, insert a screwdriver or something
similar through the ventilation slots of the motor and gently turn the fan wheel.
Pump blocked or defective.
➔Dismantle and clean the pump.
➔Clean diffuser, replace it if necessary.
➔Clean impeller, replace it if necessary.
Pump does not suck properly or runs very loudly:
Lack of water. ➔Ensure that there is sufficient water supply.
Suction line leaking. ➔Seal suction line, tighten screw connections.
Suction height to high.
➔Observe maximum suction height.
➔Insert non-return valve, fill suction line with water.
Suction filter (equipment) blocked. ➔Clean or replace it if necessary.
Non-return valve (equipment) blocked. ➔Clean or replace it if necessary.
Water leakage between motor and pump, mechanical seal leaky. ➔Replace mechanical seal.
Pump blocked or defective. S➔ee above.
Pressure too low:
Suction line leaking or suction height too high. ➔See above.
Pump blocked or defective. ➔See above.
