Vacuum cleaners
500 km test:
Our floor tools have to do extreme sports:
They have to vacuum 500 km without
interruption.
Fall test:
We do not leave anything to chance – For this
reason the vacuum cleaner housing has to
prove its durability with 35 falls from carrying
height without damages.
Rewind test:
The automatic cable rewind has to deserve
its name, so it has to absolve at least 6,000
rewinding procedures to be on the safe side.
Stop-and-go test
We test the readiness for use of our vacuum
cleaners very intensively by pressing the
on/off button at least 45,000 times.
Threshold test:
In order to provide an optimum stability of
the wheels and the undercarriage, the
vacuum cleaner has to roll at least 6,000
times over thresholds.
Bending test:
Before a vacuum cleaner hose is allowed to
vacuum in your house, it has to go through
at least 40,000 flexions with a weight of
2 kg without being damaged.
2Vacuum Cleaners
The secret of Bosch quality.
Bosch vacuum cleaners stand for the highest quality: Before a model is launched in the
market, we vigorously test its heart and kidneys.
Bosch vacuum cleaners are infinitely versatile. They’re powerful and efficient but still light
enough to manoeuvre, making them easy to carry and to store away. At Bosch we never
compromise, so we wouldn’t expect you to either. That’s why all of our cleaners have top
of the range features as standard.
Bosch offers vacuum cleaners that not just clean, but are also exceptionally energy-efficient
and aim for the purest environment in your home. With intelligent technology, excellent
design and outstanding convenience of use, Bosch aims to satisfy customers with high
expectations in performance, longevity, reliability and efficiency.

MEGAfilt SuperTEX dust bag
The MEGAfilt SuperTEX dust bag consists
of a three-ply layer that filters up to 99% of
dirt and fine dust particles. It has the
following advantages:
• Enhanced effectiveness of the entire
filter system
• Longer lifetime of the motor and
exhaust filters
• Improved performance compared to
paper dust bags
Duo-Soft Nozzle
This patented system of two rotating soft
brush rolls entirely made of 100% natural
bristles takes care of your floor and also
sweep coarse dirt into the extra wide
vacuum channel. This is also suitable for
use on carpets – no change of floor tools
necessary.
Exhaust filter change indicator
Bosch is the first home appliance
manufacturer that offers a secured hygienic
control. An LCD display lights up when there
is a need to change the filter.
HEPA Filter
For particularly hygiene-conscious users
and dust-allergy sufferers, we recommend
appliances with a HEPA filter hygiene
feature. This special feature comprises a
multifold mat enclosed in a grille, which is
capable of trapping even the tiny particles
of condensate and tar from cigarette smoke.
This class of filter produces expelled air that
is cleaner than the ambient air in the room
and guarantees a 99.997% filtered rate.
AirFlow control system:
The AirFlow control system® guarantees maximum dust pick up and minimum emission.
This unique air wash technology with AirSafe system® is made up of 4 components:
