Safety
• Thefan heater may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and know-
ledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
theproduct in asafe way and understand thehazards involved. Neverlet children
play with thefan heater. Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children
but only under adult supervision.
• Thefan heater must be kept out of reach of children under 3 years of age unless
they are under constant supervision.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years should only switch thefan heater on/
off provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating
position and they have been given supervision or instruction in thesafe use of
theappliance and understand thehazards involved.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must not plug in theheater, regulate it
or perform any user maintenance.
• Warning: Someparts of thefan heater become very hot duringuse. Thereis
arisk ofburns. Special care must be taken if thefan heater is used in thesame
room as young children, aged or infirm persons.
• Thefan heater is only intended for normal domestic use and only in themanner
described in this instruction manual.
• Thefan heater should only be connected to a220–240V, 50 Hz power supply.
• Theheater should never be connected using anon/off timer or other equipment
which can automatically switch theapplianceon.
• Note: Nevercover thefan heater.
• Always switch thefan heater off and unplug it if it is not to be used for
anextendedperiod.
• Do not place thefan heater directly under awall socket.
• Do not place themains lead where it can be crushed or damaged by sharpedges.
• Place themains lead where there is no risk of people tripping overit.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with thefan heater.
• Never use thefan heater if it, themains lead or plug is in any way damaged or
malfunctioning.
