Safety
The product can become very hot during use and could cause burns. Special care must be
taken if the product is used in the same room as young children, aged or infirm persons.
Never cover theproduct as doing so could cause overheating andfire.
This product is intended for indoor useonly.
• The product may be used by children of 8 years and older and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and knowledge provided they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of theproduct in asafe way and understand thehazards
involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without adult supervision.
• The product must be kept out of reach of children under 3 years of age unless they are under
constant supervision.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must only switch theproduct on/off provided that it has
been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of theproduct in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must not plug in, regulate, clean or perform user
maintenance on theproduct.
• The product must only be connected to a230 V AC electrical socket.
• Never use theproduct if themains lead or plug is damaged in anyway.
• If themains lead has been damaged, it must only be replaced by themanufacturer, authorised service
facility or qualified tradesman.
• The product must never be placed directly beneath awall socket.
• Never use theproduct near bathtubs, showers orpools.
• Never leave theproduct unattended while it is switchedon.
• Make sure that theair inlet and outlet are not blocked. Allowample space around theheater; at least 1
m in front and 50 cm at theback of theproduct.
• Unplug theproduct from thewall socket immediately if you detect aburning smell, hear and unusual
sound or if theproduct starts operating abnormally.
• Never attempt to disassemble or repair theproduct in anyway.
• Never touch theelectrical plug with damp or wet hands, especially when connecting it to or
disconnecting it from anelectrical socket.
• Never insert foreign objects through thesafety grille or housing. Doingso could result in
anelectricshock.
• Keep aneye on young children, aged or infirm persons if theheater is used in thesame room asthem.
• Never tug themains lead to unplug theproduct from thewall socket, always grip and pull theplug itself.
