Warning: To reduce the risk of FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK,

EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE UV RADIATION OR INJURY TO

PERSONS:

• Unplug and allow to cool before replacing bulb.

• Lighted lamp is HOT!

• Do not remain in light if skin feels warm.

• For indoor and outdoor use.

• cULus Listed for wet location use.

• Fixture must be connected to a 120 Volt, 60 Hz power source. Any other

connection voids warranty.

• Keep away from flammable objects.

• The bulb and fixture get extremely hot during use. Always unplug the light

and let it cool 5 minutes before attempting to touch the fixture.

• Do not touch hot lens, guard, or enclosure.

• Bulb gets HOT quickly! Only contact switch/plug when turning on.

• The electrical system, and the method of electrically connecting the fixture

to it, must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local

building codes.

• Do not operate the unit with a missing or damaged wire safety guard, safety

glass lens (lamp containment), or UV filter.

• Do not direct the light at persons or look directly at lighted fixture.

• Use only with a 500 watt or smaller bulb. Installing a bulb of a higher

wattage could create a fire hazard. Use of a higher wattage bulb will

void the warranty.

• Never touch the bulb with your bare hands. Oil from your skin can cause pre

mature failure. Always handle the bulb with gloves or a soft cloth.withple Ima

• If lens is replaced, use only a diffused tempered safety glass of equal thickness.

• For maximum bulb life, position light so that the quartz halogen bulb remains

within 4 degree of horizontal.

• Disassembly of your fixture will void the warranty.

Warning: When using outdoor use portable lamps, basic safety

precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,

electric shock and personal injury, including the following...

• Use only with three wire extension cords that have three-prong gorunding

plugs and that are suitable for outdoor use, such as cords marked SW, SW-A,

SOW, SOW-A, STW, STW-A, STOW, STOW-A, SJW, SJW-A, SJOW,

SJOW-A, SJTW-A, SJTOW, SJTOW-A and grounding receptacles that accept

a three-prong plug. When the fixture is used in wet locations, Ground Fault

Circuit Interruption (GFCI) protection must be provided o the circuit(s) or out

let(s) to be used. Receptacles are available having built-in GFCI protection

and are able to be used for this measure of safety.

Warning: Deviation from the assembly instructions may result in a

risk of fire or electric shock.

Assembling your fixture

Step 1: Remove pole and leg assembly from box.

Unlock legs first by pulling each leg out

approximately 1˝, then loosen the knob at

the top of the leg assembly and pulls legs

out, extending to full open position so that

the top black bracket slides down until it is

lined up with the red line on the center pole

label. Retighten knob.

Step 2: Using the bolt provided attach the center

handle to the crossbar (Fig. 1).

Step 3: To mount each light fixture to the light bar,

first place plastic spacer on each bolt on the

“U” bracket. Place each bolt through the holes

in the light bar (Fig. 2). Position the knob and

tighten until secure.

Step 4: Using a phillips screwdriver, mount the “Y” cord to the back of the

center handle. A threaded hole is provided.

Step 5: To install the wire safety guard, insert one side of the guard between

the frame and lens. Squeeze the guard until the other side can be

placed between the opposite side of the frame and lens.

Use as a stand light

Step 1: Unlock legs first by pulling each leg out

approximately 1˝, then loosen the knob at the

top of the leg assembly and pulls legs out,

extending to full open position so that the top

black bracket slides down until it is lined up with

the red line on the center pole label (Fig. 3).

Retighten knob.

Step 2: Attach portable fixture to the vertical pole by

placing the Quick-release

™collar over the top

of the tube. Tighten the knob on the collar until

the screw is secure (Fig. 4).

Step 3: Plug light into a GFCI protected 120 volt receptacle.

Step 4: To turn light ON or OFF, push red switch on the

back of each fixture.

Step 5: Adjust the tripod stand to the desired height by loosening and

tightening the locking collars on the pole.

Step 6: On uneven terrain, position the extendable leg toward the lowest point

on the surface. Extend the leg by loosening the locking collar, pulling

the leg out, and tightening the collar.

Note: Legs must be secured with sand bags or other suitable weight:

• When used on uneven or rocky surfaces.

• When used in windy areas.

• Anytime extra stability is required.

Use as a portable light

Step 1: If using as a stand light, remove the portable fixture from vertical

pole by turning the Quick-release™knob counterclockwise until

loose. Lift portable unit from pole.

Step 2: Use the light fixtures by setting the built-in stand on any flat surface.

Step 3: For maximum safety, portable light fixtures should always be

plugged into a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected,

120 volt circuit.

Step 4: To turn light ON or OFF, push red switch on the back of each fixture.

Bonus bulb included

This fixture includes a spare bulb, which insures that you can

always finish your job or project without interruption due to bulb fail-

ure. The spare bulb and holder are located in the center handle of

the portable fixture (Fig. 5).

CAUTION: Always handle halogen bulbs with gloves or with a

clean soft cloth.Oil from your skin can cause premature failure of

the bulb.

Replacing the bulb

Step 1: Make sure fixture is turned OFF and unplugged.

Step 2: Turn wing nut on back of handle counterclockwise to remove handle.

Using a Phillips screwdriver loosen the screw on the front of the door.

Step 3: The door frame and lens assembly will swing down

allowing access to the bulb.

Step 4: Using gloves or soft cloth, press the old bulb to one

side of the spring loaded socket as indicated on the

metal reflector. Remove opposite end of bulb from the

other side of the socket. Remove the new bulb from

its package making sure not to touch bulb with bare

hands. Reverse this procedure to install a new

replacement bulb (Fig. 6).

Step 5: Replace the door frame and lens assembly and

secure it using a phillips screwdriver.

Aiming the fixture

Make sure the light fixture is in the OFF position and cool.

Loosen the knob located on the side of the light fixture housing.

Using the top tab handle tilt to desired position then retighten

knobs (Fig. 7). There is a stop that restricts the downward and

inward movement of the fixture for safety reasons. To prevent

overheating and risk of burns or fire, do not aim the fixture down

at an angle of more than 10 degrees from horizontal.

Two Year Limited Warranty

Cooper Lighting (“the Company”) warrants this product (“the product”) against

defects in material or workmanship for a period of two years from date of

original purchase, and agrees to repair or, at the Company’s option, replace a

defective product without charge for either replacement parts or labor during

such time. This does not include labor to remove or install fixtures.

This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the product.

A purchasers receipt or other proof of date of original purchase acceptable to

the Company is required before warranty performance shall be rendered.

This warranty only covers product failure due to defects in materials or

workmanship which occurs in normal use. It does not cover the bulb or failure

of the product caused by accident, misuse, abuse, lack of reasonable care,

alteration, or faulty installation, subjecting the product to any but the specified

electrical service or any other failure not resulting from defects in materials or

workmanship. Damage to the product caused by separately purchased,

non-Company brand replacement bulbs and corrosion or discoloration of

brass components are not covered by this warranty.

There are no express warranties except as described above.

problems you are experiencing, along with your address and telephone number.

You will then be contacted with a solution, or a Return Goods Authorization

number and full instructions for returning the product. All returned products

must be accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization Number issued by the

Company and must be returned freight prepaid. Any product received

without a Return Goods Authorization Number from the Company will

be refused.

Cooper Lighting is not responsible for merchandise damaged in transit.

Repaired or replaced products shall be subject to the terms of this warranty and

are inspected when packed. Evident or concealed damage that is made in

transit should be reported at once to the carrier making the delivery and a claim

filed with them.

Advertencia: Para reducir los riegos de INCENDIO, CHOQUE

• ¡El foco se CALIENTA con rapidez! Si necesita apagar la lámpara toque

sólo el interruptor o el enchufe.

• El sistema eléctrico, y el método para conectar eléctricamente el

portalámparas a éste, debe cumplir con las Normas para Instalaciones

Eléctricas y con los reglamentos locales de construcción.

• No utilisar sin alambre de seguridad o un alambre dañado, un protector de

lám-para o un filtro de rayos UV.

• No apunte la lámpara hacia otras personas o mire la luz directamente mien

tras esté encendida.

• Usar solamente con foco de 500 vatios o menor. Si se instalan focos de más

alto vataje se puede correr el riesgo de un incendio. El uso de focos de más

alto vataje anula la garantía.

• Nunca toque el foco con las manos desprotegidas. Sujétela con guantes o un

paño suave. El aceite de la piel puede ocasionar fallos prematuros.

• Si el lente es remplazado, utilize un lente para iluminación difusa en vidrio de

seguridad templado del mismo grueso.

• Para que el foco dure lo más posible, coloque la lámpara de trabajo de

man era quel foco halógeno de cuarzo se mantenga a 4 grados de la línea

horizontal.

• Desensamblar el artefacto anulará la garantía.

Nota: Cuando use lámparas portátiles para exterior, debe respetarse siempre

las instrucciones de seguridad para reducir el riesgo de incendios, descarga

eléctrica y lesiones personales incluyendo:

• Utilizar solamente con una extensión eléctrica de tres líneas que tenga

clavijas de tres puntas para conectar a tierra que convengan al uso exterior

tal como las extensiones etiquetadas SW, SW-A, SOW, SOW-A, STW,

STW-A, STOW, STOW-A, SJW, SJW-A, SJOW, SJOW-A, SJTW, SJTW-A,

SJTOW, SJTOW-A ya los contactos de tres entradas conectados a tierra.

Ensamblaje de su porta-bombilla

Paso 1: Remueva de la caja el poste y el conjunto de patas. Primero desase

gure las patas halando cada pata hacia afuera aproximadamente 1˝,

luego afloje la perilla ubicada en la parte superior del conjunto de

patas y hale las patas hacia afuera, extendiéndolas hasta la posición

totalmente abierta de manera que el soporte (anillo) negro superior

se deslice hacia abajo hasta que quede alineado con la línea roja de

la etiqueta central en el poste. Reapriete la perilla.

Paso 2: Utilizando el perno suministrado, fije la

manija central al travesaño. (Fig. 1).

Paso 3: Para montar cada porta-bombilla en la

barra (travesaño) de lámpara, primero

coloque el espaciador plástico en cada

perno en el soporte en “U”. Inserte cada

perno a través de los orificios en la barra

de lámpara (Fig. 2). Coloque la perilla y

apriete hasta asegurar.

Paso 4: Utilizando un atornillador phillips, monte el

cable en “Y” en la parte posterior de la manija

central. Se suministra un orificio roscado.

Paso 5: Para instalar el protector de seguridad de

cable, inserte un (1) lado del protector entre el

marco y los lentes. Apriete el protector hasta que el otro lado pueda

colocarse entre el lado opuesto del marco y los lentes.

Uso como lampára de pedestal

Paso 1: Primero desasegure las patas halando

cada pata hacia afuera aproximadamente 1”, luego

afloje la perilla ubicada en la parte superior

del conjunto de patas y hale las patas hacia

afuera, extendién dolas hasta la posición

totalmente abierta de manera que el soporte

(anillo) negro superior se deslice hacia abajo

hasta que quede alin eado con la línea roja

de la etiqueta central en el poste (Fig. 3).

Reapriete la perilla.

Paso 2: Fije el porta-bombilla portátil en el poste

vertical colocando el collar quick-release™ sobre

la parte superior del tubo. Apriete la perilla en el

collar hasta que el tornillo esté seguro (Fig.4).

Paso 3: Enchufe la lámpara en un tomacorriente de

120 voltios protegido por GFCI.

Paso 4: Para encender o apagar la lámpara, presione el

interruptor rojo ubicado en la parte posterior de cada porta-bombilla.

Paso 5: Ajuste el pedestal tipo trípode a la altura deseada aflojando y

apretando los collares de sujeción ubicados en el poste.

Paso 6: En terreno irregular, posicione la pata extensible en el punto más

bajo sobre la superficie. Extienda la pata aflojando el collar de

fijación, halando la pata hacia afuera, y apretando el collar.

Nota: Las patas deben asegurarse mediante bolsas de arena u otro

peso adecuado:

• Cuando la lámpara se utiliza sobre superficies irregulares o rocosas.

• Cuando la lámpara se utiliza en áreas con viento.

• En cualquier momento durante el cual se requiere estabilidad

adicional.

Uso como lampára de portátil

Paso 1: Si se está utilizando como lámpara de pedestal, remueva

el porta-bombilla portátil del poste vertical girando la perilla

Quick-release™ en sentido antihorario hasta liberar. Levante la

unidad portátil del poste.

Paso 2: Utilice los porta-bombilla colocando el pedestal incorporado sobre

cualquier superficie plana.

Paso 3: Para lograr máxima seguridad, los porta-bombilla portátiles siempre

se deben conectar en un circuito de 120 voltios protegido por GFCI

(Interruptor de Circuito por Falla a Tierra).

Paso 4: Para encender ó apagar la lámpara, presione el interruptor rojo

ubicado en la parte trasera de cada porta-bombilla.

Bombilla adicional incluida

Este porta-bombilla incluye una bombilla de repuesto, lo cual

garantiza que usted siempre puede terminar su trabajo o proyecto

sin interrupción debido a la falla de una bombilla. La bombilla de

repuesto y el sostén están ubicados en la manija central del porta-

bombilla portátil (Fig.5).

PRECAUCIÓN: Las bombillas halógenas siempre deben

manipularse con guantes o con tela suave limpia. La grasa de la

piel podría causar la falla prematura de la bombilla.

Reemplazo de la bombilla

Paso 1: Asegúrese que el porta-bombilla está apagado y desenchufado.

Paso 2: Para remover la manija, gire en sentido anti-horario la tuerca tipo

mariposa ubicada en la parte trasera de la manija. Utilizando un

atornillador Phillips, afloje el tornillo ubicado en la parte delantera

de la puerta.

Paso 3: El marco de puerta y el conjunto de lentes girarán permitiendo

acceso a la bombilla.

Paso 4: Utilizando guantes o tela suave, presione la bombilla

vieja hacia un lado del receptáculo resortado según se

indica en el reflector metálico. Remueva el extremo

opuesto de la bombilla desde el otro lado del

receptáculo. Saque la bombilla nueva de su empaque

asegurándose de no tocar la bombilla con las manos

desnudas. Invierta este procedimiento para instalar

una nueva bombilla de repuesto (Fig.6).

Paso 5: Coloque nuevamente el marco de puerta y el

conjunto de lentes, y asegúrelos utilizando un atornil

lador phillips.

Orientación del porta-bombilla

Asegúrese que el porta-bombilla está en la posición OFF y que

está frío. Afloje la perilla ubicada en el lado de la caja del
