To reduce the risk of electric shock, ensure electricity

has been turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box

before you begin.

All wiring must be in accordance with the National

Electrical Code “ANSI/NFPA 70” and local electrical

codes.

Electrical installation should be performed by a

qualified licensed electrician.

The outlet box and support structure must be

securely mounted and capable of reliably supporting

a minimum of 35 lbs (15.9 kg). Use only UL Listed

outlet boxes marked “Acceptable for Fan Support of

35 lbs. (15.9 kg) or less.”

Do not place objects in the path of the blades.

Do not use water or detergents when cleaning the

fan or fan blades. A dry dust cloth or lightly ampened

cloth will be suitable for most cleaning.

After making electrical connections, spliced

conductors should be turned upward and pushed

carefully up into the outlet box. The wires should be

spread apart with the grounded conductor and the

equipment-grounding conductor on one side of the

outlet box and ungrounded conductor on the other

side of the outlet box.

All setscrews must be checked and retightened

where necessary before installation.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock or

fire,not use this fan with any solid-state fan speed

ontrol device. It will permanently damage the electronic

circuitry.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury, do

not bend the blade brackets when installing the rackets

balancing the blades, or cleaning the fan. Do not insert

foreign objects in between rotating fan blades.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock

or personal injury, mount to outlet box marked

“acceptable for fan support of 35 lbs. (15.9Kg) or less”

and use screws provided with the outlet box.

WARNING: To avoid possible electrical shock, turn

the electricity off at the main fuse box before wiring.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock,

this must be installed with an lsolating wall

control/switch.

CAUTION: The fan must be mounted with a

minimum of 7 ft (2.1 m) clearance from the trailing edge

of the blades to the floor.

CAUTION: Changes or modifications not expressly

approved by the party responsible for compliance

could void the user’s authority to operate the quipment.

CAUTION: To avoid personal injury or damage to

the fan and other items, use caution when working

around or cleaning the fan.

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of personal injury, use

only the screws provided with the outlet box.

Step1 Attaching the Fan Blade Arm

Attach blade arms to motor using supplied screws. (see

figure 1)

Step2 Assembling the Fan Blade and

Blade Arm Cover

Choose the blade finish that you prefer and attach as

follow:

The decorative side of the blade is facing down so that

the three holes of the blade arm cover, the three holes of

the blade and the three holes of the blade arm are

aligned.

Make the blade arm cover, blade and blade arm

coincide. Hold them together with three blade screws

and paper washers.(see figure 2)

Step3 Assembling the Fan

Route the wires exiting the top of the fan motor assembly

into the coupler cover.(see figure 3)

Loosen the set screws in the downrod coupler until the

inside of the channel is clear of the screw tip.

Remove and save the lock pin on the end of the downrod.

Slide the ceiling canopy onto the downrod followed by the

coupler cover.

Attach the downrod into the coupler until the lock pin can

be inserted through the hole in both the rod and coupler.

Tighten both set joint screws on the coupler.

Insert the lock pin through the hole in the coupler and

downrod then attach the hitch pin on the other side.

Step4 Attaching the Mounting Bracket

Pass the 120-Volt supply wires through the center hole

in the mounting bracket.

Install the ceiling mounting bracket on the outlet box

using the two mounting screws provided with the outlet

box. If necessary use leveling washers (not included)

between the mounting bracket and outlet box.

Note that the flat side of the mouting bracket is toward

the outlet box. When using flushmount, it is important

that the mounting bracket be level.

Securely tighten the two outlet box screws.(see figure 4)

CAUTION: To ensure wobble-free operation and to

avoid damage to the fan, the downrod and the set crew

must be completely tightened.

or less” and use screws provided with the outlet box.

Step5 Hanging the fan

Carefully lift the fan motor assembly up to the mounting

bracket.

Seat the hanger ball portion of the downrod assembly in

the mounting bracket socket. Ensure that the tab on the

mounting bracket socket is properly seated in the groove

in the hanger ball. (see figure 5)

Connect receiver to mounting bracket as shown. Ensure

all the electrical connections (see Step 7)are tight and

secure to the fan motor assembly. Make sure the fan is

earthed correctly as shown. (see figure 6)

After completing the above steps, raise the canopy to

cover the receiver and bracket. Once secure and no

cables or antenna are visible, then screw down the sides

of the canopy. (see Step 8)

Step7 Electrical Connection

Remember to disconnect the power.

Follow the steps below to connect the fan to your household wiring. (see figure 7)

Use the wire connecting nuts supplied with your fan.

Secure the connectors with electrical tape.

Make sure there are no loose strands or connections.

Between fan and receiver:

Connect the white wire marked "LIGHT N" from the fan to the white wire marked "FOR LIGHT N" from the

receiver.

Connect the blue wire marked "LIGHT L" from the fan to the blue wire marked "FOR LIGHT L" from the

receiver.

Connect the pink wire from the fan to the pink wire marked "TO MOTOR" from the receiver.

Connect the gray wire from the fan to the gray wire marked "TO MOTOR" from the receiver.

Connect the red wire from the fan to the red wire marked "TO MOTOR" from the receiver.

Between receiver and mains:

Connect the black live wire marked "AC IN L" from the receiver to the live wire (typically black) from the outlet

box.

Connect the white neutral wire marked "AC IN N" from the receiver to the neutral wire (typically white) from the

outlet box.

Connect the green ground wire from the receiver to the ground wire (bare orgreen) from the outlet box.

Step9 Installation of Lighting Fixture

Loosen the screws of the protective cover and remove

the protective cover.

A wire connector (female) is located inside the fan motor

assembly and a male connector extends from the

lighting fixture. Push them together.

A wire connector (male) is located inside the fan motor

assembly and a female connector extends from the

lighting fixture. Push them together.

Align the three bumps on the fan motor assembly with

the three grooves on the lighting fixture and rotate the

lighting fixture clockwise until locked. (see figure 9)

Remove the two non-slotted mounting screws on the top

of the canopy.

Back the two slotted screws out about half way.

This will enable you to remove the mounting cover plate

from canopy.

Align the locking slots of the ceiling canopy with the two

canopy screws in the mounting cover plate.

Push up to rengage the slots and turn clockwise to lock

in place.

Firmly tighten the two canopy screws.

Install the two canopy screws into the holes in the

canopy and tighten firmly.(see figure 8)

Step10 Installing the Bulb and Glass

Install three LED bulbs(not included) and screw them in

clockwise until fastened.(see figure 10)

Put the glass in the protective cover, align the light fixture

screw hole, tighten the screw.

CAUTION:When installing the glass, align the three

screws with the sponge mat in the three glass slots and

tighten the screws.Otherwise, you may damage the

glass.

Because of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose. Check the support connections,

brackets, and blade attachments twice a year. Make sure they are secure. It is not necessary to remove the fan

from the ceiling.

Clean your fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance over the years. Do not use water when cleaning,

as this could damage the motor or the wood, or possibly cause an electrical shock. Use only a soft brush or

lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish. The plating is sealed with a lacquer to minimize discoloration or

tarnishing.

You can apply a light coat of furniture polish to the wood for additional protection and enhanced beauty. Cover

small scratches with a light application of shoe polish.

You do not need to oil your fan. The motor has permanently-lubricated sealed ball bearings.

Always unplug the fan before cleaning, disassembly or servicing.
