Overview

The PC-5110 and PC-5120 are compact and light-weight pen type digital thermohygrometers.

These are conveniently carried and easily measure temperature and humidity anywhere.

Features

- Simultaneous display

Temperature and humidity values are simultaneously displayed on a LCD

-Rotary type sensor cap is equipped:

It keeps sensors free of dust.

- MIN/MAX function

Maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) temperature and humidity can be measured.

- Auto-power function

The power is automatically turned off if the continuous measurement was not done for 20 minutes.

- HOLD function

The measured value can be frozen.

-Dew point temperature and wet bulb temperature can be displayed (PC-9120 only)

By the calculation of the measured temperature and humidity, dew point temperature and wet bulb

temperature are displayed.

- Measurements while the battery power is insufficient may result in faulty operation.

When the display becomes dim, replace the battery even if the low battery mark does not blink.

2-2 How to measure temperature

(1) Press the POWER ON/OFF key to turn the power on. All characters are displays and the both of

current temperature and humidity display and it is in measurement mode.

(2) Before starting the measurement, rotate the sensor protection cap to open.

(3) To turn the power off, press the POWER ON/OFF key again and the display disappears.

Rotate the sensor protection cap to close.

Caution

Be sure to use the instrument within the measuring range (-10 to 50℃). Otherwise, humidity sensor

may deteriorate.

2-3. HOLD Function

When the temperature and the humidity change too frequently during measurement, press the HOLD

key to freeze the display for easier reading.

The MIN/MAX values are also fixed while the HOLD function is being used. In PC-5120, the dew point

and wet bulb temperature are also fixed while the HOLD function is being used.

(1) Press the HOLD key. “HLD”s show in display section and the measured value is being hold,

(2) Press the HOLD key again and the “HLD”disappears and HOLD function is released.

2-4. MIN/ MAX/ Function

The maximum and minimum values among the measured values can be displayed by pressing the

MAX/MIN key.

(1) Press the MAX/MIN key,“MIN” character shows while the minimum measured values of

temperature and humidity are displayed,

(2) Press the MAX/MIN key again. “MAX” character shows in display section. The maximum values

of temperature and humidity are displayed.

(3) Press the MAX/MIN key again. “MAX” character disappears and the current temperature and

humidity display.

The stored data are cleared when the power is turned off.
