ALLGEMEINE INFORMATIONEN
Dieser Werkzeugsatz beinhaltet wichtige Werkzeuge zum Überprüfen und Einstellen der Motor-
Steuerzeiten und ist passend für VAG 1,4 und 1,6 L FSI und TSI Motoren mit Steuerkette.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
•
Vorsicht bei Arbeiten an heißen Motoren, es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr!
•Vorsicht bei Arbeiten an laufenden Motoren. Lose Kleidung, Werkzeuge
und andere Gegenstände können von drehenden Teilen erfasst werden
und zu schweren Verletzungen führen.
•Entfernen Sie vor der Reparatur den Zündschlüssel, so verhindern Sie ein
versehentliches Starten des Motors.
•Diese Anleitung dient als Kurzinformation, ersetzt keinesfalls ein
Werkstatthandbuch. Verwenden Sie immer fahrzeugspezifische
Serviceliteratur, dieser entnehmen Sie bitte technische Angaben wie
Drehmomentwerte, Hinweise zur Demontage / Montage usw.
•Nach erfolgter Reparatur bzw. vor dem Starten den Motor min. 2
Umdrehungen von Hand drehen und die Steuerzeiten erneut überprüfen.

ANWENDUNG
Messuhr-Adapter,
zu verwenden wie OEM T10170
Drehen Sie den Messuhradapter von Hand in das
Zündkerzengewinde.
Stecken Sie eine Messuhr in den Adapter und
fixieren Sie die Messuhr mit dem seitlich
angebrachten Fixierrad. Sie können mittels
Zeigerausschlag durch Drehen an der Kurbelwelle
den OT bestimmen.
Nockenwellen-Arretierung,
zu verwenden wie OEM T10171
Bei der Montage der Nockenwellenarretierung darauf
achten, dass die Fixierbolzen (Aund B) genau in die
Bohrungen (Aund B) wie im Bild dargestellt
eingreifen.
Achtung: Einbaulage beachten. Die Ausfräsung (C)
muss nach der Montage rechts oben stehen.
Kettenspanner- Fixierstift,
zu verwenden wie OEM T40011
Spannschiene von Hand in Richtung Kettenspanner
drücken und den Fixierstift durch die Bohrung
einführen.
Kurbelwellen-Fixierdorn,
zu verwenden wie OEM T10340
Verschlussstopfen entfernen und Kurbelwellen-
Fixierdorn montieren.
Achtung: Stellung der Kurbelwelle beachten.

SAFETY ADVICE
•
Be careful when working on hot engines – risk of burn!
•Be careful when working on running engines. Loose clothes, tools and
other things can be caught up in revolving parts which may lead to serious
injuries.
•Remove the ignition key before repair so that the engine will not start
unintentionally.
•This manual is just brief information and will not replace a workshop
manual. Always consult specific service literature for information about
torques, assemblies and disassemblies etc.
•After any successful maintenance and before starting the engine, you
should rotate the engine for two turns manually to check the new control
time.

APPLICATION
Dial Gauge Adapter,
to be used as OEM T10170
Turn the dial gauge adapter by hand into the spark
plug threads.
Insert a dial gauge into the adapter and attach the
gauge with the side-mounted fixing screw. Now you
can adjust the crankshaft with dial gauge to the TDC.
Camshaft Locking Tool,
to be used as OEM T10171
When installing the Camshaft make sure that the
fixing bolt (Aand B) engage in the holes (Aand B),
as shown in the picture.
Caution: Note the installation position. The cut-out
(C) should be on the top on the right side after
installation.
Chain Tensioner Locking Pin,
to be used as OEM T40011
Press the rail in the chain tensioner direction and
insert the fixing pin through the hole.
Crankshaft Locking Bolt,
to be used as OEM T10340
Remove the sealing cap and mount crankshaft
locking bolt.
Attention: Observe position of the crankshaft.

CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD
•
Tenga cuidado al trabajar en motores calientes - riesgo de quemadura!
•Tenga cuidado al trabajar en motores en marcha. La ropa suelta,
herramientas y otras cosas pueden ser atrapados en las piezas
giratorias que puede dar lugar a lesiones graves.
•Retire la llave de contacto antes de la reparación también lo hizo el
motor no arranca sin querer.
•Este manual es sólo tenga en cuenta la información y no reemplazará
un manual de taller. Consulte siempre a la literatura de servicio
específico de información sobre torques, montajes y desmontajes etc.
•Después de cualquier operación de mantenimiento con éxito y antes
de arrancar el motor, gire el motor que usted debería de dos vueltas
manualmente para comprobar el nuevo control de tiempo.

APLICACIÓN
Adaptador del reloj comparador,
utilícelo como OEM T10170
Gire el adaptador en la rosca de la bujía.
Inserte un reloj comparador en el adaptador y fije el
calibrador con el tornillo de fijación lateral.
Ahora puede ajustar el cigüeñal con el reloj
comparador a la TDC.
Bloqueo del árbol de levas,
utilícelo como OEM T10171
Al instalar el árbol de levas asegúrese que el perno
de fijación (Ay B) coincide en los agujeros (Ay B),
como se muestra en la imagen.
Precaución: Tenga en cuenta la posición de
montaje.
El recorte (C) espectáculos en la parte superior
derecha después de la instalación.
Cadena de bloqueo pin tensor,
utilícelo como OEM T40011
Pulse el raíl en el tensor de la cadena de dirección e
inserte el perno de fijación a través del agujero.
Cigüeñal pasador de bloqueo,
utilícelo Como OEM T10340
Retire la tapa de cierre y montar el perno de bloqueo
del cigüeñal.
Atención: La posición del cigüeñal Observar.
