Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to Philips! To fully benefit from the support that
Philips offers, register your product at www.philips.com/MyVacuumCleaner.
Important safety information
Read this important information carefully before you use the appliance and save it for future
reference.
Danger
-Never vacuum up water or any other liquid, flammable substances or hot ashes.
Warning
-Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you
connect the appliance.
-Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord or the appliance itself is damaged.
-If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a service center authorized by
Philips or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
-Do not point the hose, the tube or any other accessory at the eyes or ears nor put it in your mouth.
-The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.
-Do not use the appliance in combination with a transformer, as this could cause hazardous
situations.
-This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
-This vacuum cleaner is designed for household use only. Do not use this vacuum cleaner to
vacuum up building waste, cement dust, ashes, fine sand, lime and similar substances. Never use
the vacuum cleaner without any of the filters. This could damage the motor and shorten the life of
the vacuum cleaner. Always clean all parts of the vacuum cleaner as shown in the user manual. Do
not clean any parts with water and/or cleaning agents if this is not specifically shown in the user
manual.
Caution
-If you clean a washable filter with water, make sure it is completely dry before you put it back into
the appliance. Do not dry the filter in direct sunlight, on a radiator or in a tumble dryer. Replace a
washable filter if it can no longer be cleaned properly or if it is damaged.
-To guarantee optimal dust retention and performance of the vacuum cleaner, always replace the
filters with original Philips filters of the correct type (see 'Ordering accessories').
-The TriActive LED nozzle contains LED lights. Do not look directly at the light source (Fig. 1).
-Do not point the LED lights directly at the eyes of people or pets.
-Do not clean the nozzles with water or a cleaning agent.
-Maximum noise level: Lc = 84 dB(A)

Troubleshooting
This chapter summarizes the most common problems you could encounter with the appliance. If you
are unable to solve the problem with the information below, visit www.philips.com/support for a list
of frequently asked questions or contact the Consumer Care Center in your country.

The suction power is
insufficient.
The dust container is full. Empty the dust container.
The filters are dirty. Clean or replace the filters.
The suction power is set to a
low setting.
Increase the suction power with the
regulator on the appliance or on the
handgrip.
The nozzle, tube or hose is
blocked up.
To remove the obstruction, disconnect
the blocked-up item and connect it (as
far as possible) the other way around.
Switch on the vacuum cleaner to force
the air through the blocked-up item in
opposite direction.
An orange light is flashing
on the appliance.
The inlet filter is dirty. Clean or replace the filter.

When I use my vacuum
cleaner I sometimes feel
electric shocks.
Your vacuum cleaner builds
up static electricity. The lower
the air humidity, the more
static electricity the
appliance builds up.
Discharge the appliance by frequently
holding the tube against other metal
objects in the room (for example the
legs of a table or chair, a radiator etc.).
You can also raise the air humidity level
in the room.
The vacuum cleaner
switched off, but I did not
press the on/off button.
The automatic on/off
function has been activated
because you did not move
the handgrip for 2 seconds.
As soon as you start moving the
handgrip again, the vacuum cleaner
switches on automatically.
The auto on/off feature
does not work.
You may have disabled the
feature.
Press and hold the on/off button on the
handgrip for 5 seconds to activate the
feature. The auto on/off icon lights up.
The auto on/off icon
flashes.
The gyroscopic sensor does
not work.

Vysavač nikdy nepoužívejte bez filtru. Mohlo by dojít kpoškození motoru azkrácení životnosti
vysavače. Jednotlivé díly vysavače čistěte vždy tak, jak je vyobrazeno vuživatelské příručce.
Nečistěte žádné díly vodou nebo čisticími prostředky, není-li tento způsob čištění výslovně uveden
vuživatelské příručce.
Upozornění
-Pokud čistíte omyvatelný filtr vodou, dbejte na to, aby byl zcela suchý, než jej zpátky vložíte do
přístroje. Pěnový a hlavní filtr nesušte na přímém slunci, na radiátoru ani vsušičce. Omyvatelný filtr
vyměňte, pokud ho již nelze řádně vyčistit nebo je poškozen.
-Chcete-li zajistit optimální zadržování prachu avýkon vysavače, související filtry vždy nahrazujte
originálními filtry společnosti Philips správného typu (viz kapitola „Objednávání příslušenství“).
-Hubice TriActive LED je vybavená světly LED. Nedívejte se přímo do světelného zdroje (obr. 1).
-Nemiřte světly LED přímo do očí lidí nebo zvířat.
-Nečistěte hubice vodou ani čisticími prostředky.
-Maximální hladina hluku: Lc = 84dB(A)

Sací výkon je
nedostatečný.
Nádoba na prach je plná. Vyprázdněte nádobu na prach.
Filtry jsou špinavé. Vyčistěte nebo vyměňte filtry.
Sací výkon je nastaven na
menší tah.
Zvyšte sací výkon pomocí ovladače na
přístroji nebo na rukojeti.
Ucpala se hubice, trubice
nebo hadice.
Chcete-li závadu odstranit, odpojte
ucpaný díl apřipojte ho (pokud je to
možné) kvysavači obráceně. Zapněte
vysavač apokuste se ucpanou část
vysát opačným směrem. Nechte proud
vzduchu, aby vysál veškerý zachycený
materiál zucpaného dílu.
Na přístroji bliká oranžová
kontrolka.
Vstupní filtr je znečištěný. Filtr vyčistěte nebo vyměňte.
