Danger

- Never vacuum up water or any other liquid. Never vacuum up ammable substances and do

not vacuum up ashes until they are cold.

- Never immerse the appliance or the adapter in water or any other liquid, nor rinse it under the tap.

Warning

- Check if the voltage indicated on the adapter corresponds to the local mains voltage before you

connect the appliance.

- Do not use the vacuum cleaner or the adapter if it is damaged.

- If the adapter is damaged, always have it replaced with one of the original type in order to avoid

a hazard.

- The adapter contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adapter to replace it with another plug,

as this causes a hazardous situation.

- This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory

or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

- Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children.

- Care must be taken to ensure that children do not play with the appliance.

- The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.

Caution

- Only charge the vacuum cleaner with the adapter supplied. During charging, the adapter feels

warm to the touch.This is normal.

- Always switch off the vacuum cleaner after use and when you charge it.

- Never block the exhaust air openings during vacuuming.

- Always use the vacuum cleaner with the lter unit assembled.

- Make sure that the product is installed with the wall xture mounted to the wall, according to

the instructions in the user manual.

- Be careful when you drill holes in the wall to attach the wall xture, to avoid the risk of

electric shock.

Environment

- This symbol means that you must not throw away the appliance with the normal household

waste. Dispose of the appliance at an ofcial collection point for electrical appliances. Correct

disposal helps to preserve the environment (Fig. 1).

- This crossed-out wheeled bin means that the appliance contains built-in rechargeable batteries

that cannot be disposed of with normal household waste. Follow the instructions in section

‘Removing the rechargeable batteries’ to remove the batteries. If you are unable to remove the

batteries yourself, take the appliance to an ofcial collection point or a Philips service centre to

have the batteries removed. Dispose of the batteries at an ofcial collection point for batteries.

Correct disposal of the batteries helps to preserve the environment (Fig. 2)

Removing the rechargeable batteries

Batteries may explode when exposed to high temperatures or re.

Only remove the rechargeable batteries if they are completely empty.

You can remove the rechargeable batteries in the following way.

1 Let the handheld vacuum cleaner run until it stops.

2 Remove the dustbin and the cyclone from the handheld. (Fig. 3)

3 Undo 2 screws from the inside of the handheld vacuum cleaner (Fig. 4).

4 Turn the handheld vacuum cleaner and remove 4 screws. (Fig. 5)

5 Remove the back panel from the handheld vacuum cleaner (Fig. 6).

6 Insert a screwdriver and push it down to remove the panel on the left side of the

appliance (Fig. 7).

7 Remove 2 screws from the bottom (Fig. 8).

8 Remove 4 screws om the left side of the appliance (Fig. 9).

9 Remove the left housing part (Fig. 10).

10 Take out the battery pack and cut the wires connected to the rechargeable batteries one by

one (Fig. 11).

The appliance does

not work when I

push the button.

The battery light ashes fast

because the batteries are low. To charge the batteries, insert the small

plug into the socket on the appliance

and insert the adapter into a wall

socket.

You cannot use the appliance

because the appliance is still

charging.

You have to remove the small plug from

the socket on the appliance before you

can switch on the appliance.

You have to press two buttons. First press the on/off button to switch

on the appliance.Then press the MAX

button to get maximum suction power.

The vacuum cleaner

has a lower suction

power than usual.

The lter and the cyclone are

dirty. Clean the lter and the cyclone.

You have not connected the

dust bucket, the dust separator

and the cyclone properly.

Incorrect assembly of these

parts causes air leakage, which

leads to loss of suction power.

Connect the dust bucket, the dust

separator and the cyclone properly.

Dust escapes from

the vacuum cleaner. The lter is dirty. Clean the lter.

The brush does not

turn anymore. The brush has encountered too

much resistance. Clean the brush.

You switched on the appliance

by pressing the on button on

the handheld vacuum cleaner.

Switch off the appliance by pressing the

on button on the handheld vacuum

cleaner again.Then switch it on again by

pressing the on button on the stick.

Precaución

Extracción de las pilas recargables

3 Desenrosque los 2 tornillos del interior del aspirador de mano (g. 4).

4 Gire el aspirador de mano y quite los 4 tornillos. (g. 5)

5 Retire el panel posterior del aspirador de mano (g. 6).

6 Inserte un destornillador y empújelo para quitar el panel del lateral izquierdo del

aparato (g. 7).

7 Quite los 2 tornillos de la parte inferior (g. 8).

8 Quite los 4 tornillos del lateral izquierdo del aparato (g. 9).

9 Retire la pieza de la carcasa izquierda (g. 10).

10 Extraiga el pack de pilas y corte los cables conectados a las pilas recargables uno a

uno (g. 11).
