Hand-Held Anemometer

1

Thank you for purchasing the Hand-Held Anemometer.

- This product is designed to measure instantaneous wind speed.

Do not use it for other purposes.

- Please read this manual thoroughly before using the instrument

and keep the manual in a safe place for your future reference.

Overview

The wind speed is measured by 3-cup anemometer which drives the

AC generator inside. The rotation of the cups is transferred to the AC

generator which produces a voltage proportional to the wind speed.

malfunctions.

Hold the indicator to level to your eyes for correct readings.

Do not use the instrument out of its measuring range.

The instrument can be used in rain, but do not tilt it more than 45º.

Be careful not to bend or pull the cable to avoid short circuit.

Do not use or store the instrument near extreme heat.

Never disassemble or alter the instrument.

Make sure to grab the bulged area under the cups when

dismounting the anemometer.
