Windsor Sensor
Poor or No Pickup
These are general maintenance guidelines.
Please consult your owner’s manual prior to performing any repairs or maintenance on this machine.
Difculty Tools Req. Check vacuum bag and lters
Low No - if bag is full or damaged, replace the bag.
Parts: Bag
Low Yes - if lters are clogged/dirty/damaged, replace the lters.
Parts: Filter
Note: See Replacing the Bag and Microlter on page 3.
See Replacing the Exhaust Filter on page 4.
Check hose for clog/damage
Low Yes - remove clog with a wire coat hanger or at tip screwdriver. If hose is damaged, replace the hose.
Parts: Hose
Note: See Removing a Clog on page 5.
Check brush roller
Low Yes - if brush roller is damaged, replace the brush roller.
Parts: Hose
Note: See Replacing the Brush Roller on page 6.
Check the belt
Low Yes - if belt is damaged, replace the belt

Note: See Replacing the Belt on page 6.

Replacing the Bag and Mircrolter
These are general maintenance guidelines.
Please consult your owner’s manual prior to performing any repairs or maintenance on this machine.
**Before you begin: Turn the machine off and unplug it.
1. Lift lever up
to remove front
cover.
2. Squeeze the
clips on the bag
together to release
bag.
3. Slide the bag
out to remove.
4. Reverse process
to install a new
bag.
1. Perform
“Replacing the
Bag” steps 1-3.
2. Push the wire
holder back
to release the
microlter.
3. Slide the
microlter out to
remove.
4. Reverse the
process to install a
new microlter.
Note: Push the
wire holder down
and hold it while
you slide the
microlter in place.

Replacing the Exhaust Filter
These are general maintenance guidelines.

**Before you begin: Turn the machine off and unplug it.
1. Push the button
on the front of the
vacuum body to
release the body
from the base.
2. Pull the body up
to remove it from
the base.
3. Pull up on the
exhaust lter cover
to remove.
4. Remove exhaust
lter from cage.
5. Reverse process
to install a new
exhaust lter.

Removing a Clog
These are general maintenance guidelines.
Please consult your owner’s manual prior to performing any repairs or maintenance on this machine.
**Before you begin: Turn the machine off and unplug it.
1. Push the button
on the front of the
vacuum body to
release the body
from the base.
2. Pull the body up
to remove it from
the base.
3. Pull the neck
down parallel
with base and
using a wire coat
hanger or at tip
screwdriver, check
for a clog in the
neck.
4. Pull hose from
base. Check for a
clog using a wire
coat hanger or a
at tip screwdriver.
5. Flip the base
over and open the
inspection door to
check for a clog.
6. Reverse steps 1
and 2 to reattach
the body to the
base.

Replacing the Brush Roller and/or Belt
These are general maintenance guidelines.
Please consult your owner’s manual prior to performing any repairs or maintenance on this machine.
**Before you begin: Turn the machine off and unplug it.
1. Push the button
on the front of the
vacuum body to
release the body
from the base.
2. Pull the body up
to remove it from
the base.
3. Push the button
on top of the base.
While holding the
button down, pop
the brush roller
cover off.
4. Pull to remove
the brush roller
cover.
5. Pull the brush
roller through
the opening to
remove.
6. Reverse process
to install a new
brush roller or
continue to step 7
to replace the belt.
7. With brush roller
pulled out, ip
the base over and
using a Phillips
screwdriver,
remove the 4
screws from the
base plate.
8. Flip the base
back over and pull
to remove the top
base cover.

9. Using a at tip
screwdriver, slide
the belt off the
pulley.
10. Using a Phillips
screwdriver,
remove the 2
screws from the
brush roll cover.
11. Push the left
bearing block up
from the bottom of
the base.
12. The belt can
now be removed
from the base.
13. When
installing the new
belt, place one
end of the belt on
the motor pulley
and the other end
on the left bearing
block. Pull the vac
bumper out a little
to push the left
bearing block in
place.
14. Reverse steps
to reassemble the
machine.

Replacing the Power Cord and/or Switch
These are general maintenance guidelines.
Please consult your owner’s manual prior to performing any repairs or maintenance on this machine.
**Before you begin: Turn the machine off and unplug it.
1. Refer to this
picture when
connecting a new
switch or power
cord.
2. Push the button
on the back of the
vacuum to release
the handle.
3. Pull the handle
up to remove it.
7. Using a #7 nut
driver, remove
the nut holding
the green wire in
place.
4. Using a Phillips
screwdriver,
remove the screw
from the back of
the handle.
5. Pull to separate
the front and back
of the handle.
Note: You may
need to use a
small at tip
screwdriver to
gently pry the
handle apart.
6. Pull the handle
apart to access
the power cord
and switch wiring.

Replacing the Power Cord and/or Switch
These are general maintenance guidelines.
Please consult your owner’s manual prior to performing any repairs or maintenance on this machine.
**Before you begin: Turn the machine off and unplug it.
8. Using a Phillips
screwdriver,
remove the 2
screws holding
the power cord
bracket.
9. Using a
small Phillips
screwdriver,
loosen the 2
screws holding
the black wires.
You do not need
to remove these
screws, just loosen
them.
10. Slide the black
wires out.
11. Pull to
disconnect the
wire connectors
attached to the
switch.
12. Push the
switch fom the
back of the handle
to remove it.
Note: You may
need to use a
small at tip
screwdriver to
gently push the
switch through the
handle.
13. The front
switch cover will
come off when you
push the switch
through (step 12).
14. Reverse the
process to install
a new power cord
and/or switch.
Refer to step 1
to reconnect the
wiring correctly.
