Säkerhetsföreskrifter

Läs följande säkerhetsinstruktion innan du startar maski-

nen. Spara instruktionen.

Varning! Vid användandet av elektriska maskiner ska

grundläggande säkerhetsföreskrifter följas för att minska

risken för brand, elstöt eller personskada.

1. Inga heta eller glödande partiklar får sugas med

enheten.

2. Arbetsmiljön

Utsätt inte maskinen för väta. Använd den ej i fuktiga

och våta utrymmen eller i närheten av lättantändliga

vätskor eller gaser.

3. Överbelastning

Låt inte maskinen gå helstrypt. Använd maskinen för

avsett ändamål. Följ föreskrifterna för det material som

sugs, t ex asbest.

4. Kroppsskador

Låt aldrig sugpunkten komma i kontakt med någon

kroppsdel. Det starka undertrycket kan skada hudens

blodkärl. Försök aldrig att på egen hand ändra elek-

triska kopplingar. Ett fel kan medföra livsfara. Se också

nedan under varning.

5. Sladden

Dra aldrig maskinen med hjälp av sladden. Utsätt inte

sladden för värme eller skarpa föremål. Kontrollera

elkabeln regelbundet. Maskinen får inte användas om

kabeln eller kontakten är skadad.

6. Viktig åtgärd

Vid rengöring och skötsel ska maskinen göras strömlös

genom avstängning och utdragning av kontakten.

7. Omsorg

Håll maskinen ren och se till att sugslangen är hel och

att alla packningar är täta. Följ instruktionerna. Håll

bärhandtagen torra och fria från olja och fett.

8 Kontroll

Kontrollera alltid att maskinen är oskadad innan

användandet av maskinen. Finns det skador måste

maskinen repareras av en auktoriserad serviceverkstad

som är godkänd av Dustcontrol.

9. Varning

Använd endast tillbehör och utbytesdelar som ﬁnns i

Dustcontrol´s katalog. Endast sugtillbehör i antistatiskt

utförande eller metall får användas. OBS! Vid använ-

dandet av felaktiga eller piratdelar (framförallt ﬁlter

och plastsäckar) kan maskinen läcka hälsofarligt damm

med personskada som följd. Handtaget på maskinens

översida får endast användas med handkraft och med

tom behållare.

Funktionsbeskrivning

DC 2800 EX är en stabil, lätt och driftsäker maskin

som kan suga damm i många olika

sammanhang, till exempel vid slipning och städning.

Maskinen kan användas i temperaturer mellan 0 och

+50 grader Celsius.

DC 2800 EX är avsedd för uppsugning och avskiljning

av torrt damm. Den är speciellt framtagen för industrier

där det ﬁnns explosionsrisk samt industrier med höga

krav på en ren produktion, t ex snickeri-, livsmedels-,

och elektronikindustri.

Maskinen uppfyller kraven för avskiljning av hälsofarligt

damm enligt AFS Asbest och AFS Kvarts (mobila damm-

sugare).

ATEX

Maskin och tillbehör är lämpliga för användning i zon

22, som används med ej ledande stoft.

SVENSKA

Drift

Anslut maskinen till ett eluttag med spän-

ning enligt speciﬁkationerna på maskinens

märkplåt. Vid skarvning av elkabeln ska

skarvsladden vara vattenskyddad. Kontrol-

lera alla anslutningar och jordningar. Ned-

till på motorenheten ﬁnns en anslutning

till jord vilken indikeras av en dekal.

DC 2800 EX har en ﬁlterindikations-

lampa som lyser när ﬁltret behöver rensas

eller bytas. Filtren ska rensas 1-2 gånger

om dagen vid kontinuerlig användning.

Aggregatet ska vara igång vid ﬁlterrens-

ning. Lossa slangen från sugröret och tryck

in plasthylsan mot den svarta stoppklacken

på utblåsningskanalen, så att maximalt un-

dertryck skapas i cyklonen. Öppna luckan

på sidan 3-6 gånger. Luften rusar in i ma-

skinen och rensar ﬁltret med pulsverkan.

Behållaren under cyklonen bör tömmas när den är fylld till ca 2/3.

Service

Vid rengöring och skötsel av maskinen ska man stänga av

maskinen och dra ur kontakten.

Finﬁltret bör bytas minst en gång per år. Endast original-

ﬁlter får användas. Om maskinen har mikroﬁlter ska det

bytas efter ca 300 timmar. Använd skyddsmask vid bytet

och gör det i ett slutet rum. Utbytta ﬁlter ska läggas i en

plastsäck som försluts.

Filterbyte:

Lossa och lyft av motordelen. Lyft ﬁltret rakt uppåt. Trä

vid behov den medföljande plastsäcken över cyklonen för

att undvika att dammet i ﬁltret sprids.

Vid ﬁlterbyte kontrollera packningen. En otät packning

kan förorsaka utsläpp av hälsofarligt damm. Använd

aldrig gamla packningar eller piratﬁlter. Maskinen får så-

ledes inte användas för hälsofarligt damm med ett insatt

piratﬁlter, även om detta är testat och godkänt av någon

testinstitution.

Kontrollera regelbundet att elkabeln inte är skadad.

DC 2800 EX ska funktionsprovas och ses över minst en

gång per år eftersom det är en maskin för explosiva mil-

jöer. Slitna delar måste bytas ut. Äventyra aldrig funk-

tion och livslängd. Använd endast originaldelar.

För ﬂäktmotorer är den typiska livslängden > 10 000

timmar.

FELSÖKNING

SVENSKA

Garantitiden är två år och avser fabrikationsfel. Garantin

gäller under förutsättning att maskinen används på normalt

sätt och får den service som krävs. Normalt slitage ersätts

inte.

Garanti

Reparationer ska utföras av Dustcontrol AB eller av personer

som godkänts av Dustcontrol AB. I annat fall förverkas

garantin.

Safety Considerations

Read all instructions before attempting to operate this

machine and save these instructions.

Warning! When using electric machines, basic safety

precuations should always be followed to reduce the

risk of ﬁre, electric shock and personal injury, including

the following:

1. No hot particles nor ignition sources are allowed

to be sucked into the unit.

2. Work area environment

Don´t expose the machine for rain. Don´t use it in

damp or wet locations or in presence of ﬂammable

liquids or gases.

3. Overload

Never let the machine operate fully throttled. Always

follow the regulations pertinent to the material you

are working with ie asbestos. Don´t use the machine

for purposes that it isn´t intended for.

4. Body injuries

Never let the suction come in contact with parts

of the body. e strong suction eﬀect can hurt the

blood-vessels in the skin. Don´t repair the electric

components yourself, get somebody qualiﬁed. Faults

may cause injury. See also below under warnings.

5. Don´t abuse cord

Never pull the machine by cord. Keep cord from

heat and sharp edges. Check the electric cable regu-

larly if damage.

6. Important measure

With cleaning and maintenance on the machine,

the power cable should be dis-connected from the

supply.

7. Maintain the machine with care

Keep machine clean and check that the hose is enti-

red and that all gaskets are tight. Follow instructions.

Keep handles dry and free from oil and grease.

8 Checking of damage

Before futher use of the machine it should be care-

fully checked that the machine is unda-maged. If

there are any damaged parts these should be repaired

by of a Dustcontrol authorized service center.

9. Warning

Use only accessories and replacable parts which

are available in Dustcontrol catalogue. Note! Only

antistatic or metallic conductive suction accessories

may be used. If you use wrong spare parts (ﬁlter and

collection sacks) the machine can leak hazardous

dust which can cause personal injury. e handle on

the top of the machine can only be used by manual

power and empty container.

e DC 2800 EX is a stable, tough and reliable machine.

It can be used for spot extraction in many diﬀerent app-

lications ie: grinding and cleanup. e machine can be

used in temperatures between 0 and +50 degrees Celsius.

e DC 2800 EX shall be used for suction and separa-

tion of dried dust. It has been developed for explosion

risk environments and for companies who have high

demands for clean production, e.g. companies within the

food, electronics or woodwork industries.

e machine fulﬁls the demands for separation of un-

healthy dust.

ATEX

e unit and accessories are suitable for use in Zone 22, in

use with non-conductive dust.

Description

Operation

Connect the unit to a suitable power source,

note requirements on the ID plate. If an

extension cord is to be used, only waterproof

cords are acceptable.

e DC 2800 EX is equipped with a ﬁlter

indication lamp that indicates when the

ﬁlter needs cleaning or changing. e ﬁlter

is genereally cleaned once or twice daily

during normal continuous operation. e

unit must be in operation to perform ﬁlter

cleaning. Loose the tube from the suction

pipe and press the plastic cage against the

black stop head on the exhaust channel so

that maximum pressure is created in the

cyclone.

Open the port on the side o the unit three

to six times. is reverse pulse of air cleans

the ﬁlter.

e container under the cyclone should be emptied when it is ﬁlled to ca 2/3.

Service

During cleaning and service of the unit, the unit should

be disconnected from the power supply.

e ﬁne ﬁlter should be changed at least once per year.

Use only original parts for replacement. If the unit is

equipped with a HEPA ﬁlter, this ﬁlter should be changed

every 300 working hours. Use breathing protection and

perform this operation in a contained area. e used ﬁlter

should be placed in containment and disposed of in the

proper and prescribed method.

Filter change:

Remove the motor head. Lift the ﬁlter straight up out of

the cyclone. When required, the enclosed plastic sack can

be placed over the cyclone for a dust-free ﬁlter change.

e ﬁlter is lifted directly into the sack.

During the ﬁlter change, check the ﬁlter gasket. A dama-

ged gasket can allow the release of hazardous dust. Never

use old gaskets or after-market ﬁlters. Use only genuine

Dustcontrol spare parts to maintain the unit for use on

hazardous dusts.

Check regularly that the electrical cable is not damaged.

e DC 2800 EX should be performance tested at least

once per year because it may be used in explosive inviron-

ments. Worn parts must be replaced.

For vacuum motor the typical average > 10 000 hours.
