fittings.

retained

for

this

purpose.

Adaptor

kit

comprises

two

adaptor

cards

and

hardware

fittings

The

tracks

each

adaptor

card

connect

corresponding

pins

the

two

sockets

that

mate

with

the

backplane

connectors.

The

rear

Connector

‘A’

unused,

the

pins

are

cut

short

and

protected

the

shell

and

cover

(items

7and

6respectively).

The

pins

the

left

hand

socket

protrude

through

ashroud

which

enables

the

connection

field

connection

system

cables,

fit

the

Hot

Repair

Adaptors

the

following

manner.

Refer

the

against

the

Identify

the

two

adjacent

slots

configured

for

hot

repair.

Remove

the

four

black

shrouds

from

the

slot

field

outlets.

Retain

two

the

shrouds.

Check

that

none

the

backplane

connector

pins

are

bent

misaligned.

Carefully

position

one

the

adaptor

cards

the

right

way

over

two

the

backplan

connectors

aligning

the

top

screw

holes

and

gently

entering

the

two

top

pins

into

each

connector.
