OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS-ALARM

ARMING / LOCKING

Press theLockButton ontheremotecontrol.The Systemwill armemitonesiren chirp,onelightflash,and

the LEDwill begintoflash.Power lockswill lock(ifequipped).Starter disablecircuitwill turn on.The 2-Way

LCD Pagerwill beeponcewhiledisplaying aLocking symbol.Afterashortdelaytoallowthe vehicleand

electronics tosettle,thesystemwill becompletelyarmed.

DISARMING / UNLOCKING

Press theUnlockButtonontheremotecontrol.TheSystemwill disarmandconfirmwithtwosiren chirps,two

lightflashes,and the LEDwill turn off. Powerlockswill unlockand InteriorDomelightwill turnon (ifinstalled

withtheseoptionalfeatures). The2-WayLCD Pagerwill beep twicewhiledisplayinganUnlocksymbol.

SELECTIVE SILENTARMING/ DISARMING

ToArmor Disarmthesystemwithoutsiren chirps,press and releaseboththeUnlockand Start

Buttonatthe sametime.The Systemwill Armor Disarmwithoutsiren chirps.Flashing lightsand

LEDwill be the onlyindicatorsofArm/Disarmstatus.The LCD will Displayamusicalnotewithan“Ø”when

the systemisarmedordisarmed without achirp.

DRIVER’SDOORPRIORITYUNLOCK:Optionalconnectionrequired

Thisoptionseparatesunlockofthe driver’sdoorfromthe passenger doorswiththe remotecontrol.The first

pressofunlockbutton will unlockjustthe driver’sdoor.Pressingthe unlockbutton a2

nd timewithin12

secondswill unlockthepassenger doors.

DISARMING WHILETRIGGERED

Disarmingthe Systemwhileitistriggering requiresTWOpressesofthe Unlock Button.The firstpress Resets

the alarmcycleonly(systemstill armed)whileasecondpress will disarm/unlockthe system.

SELECTIVE SHOCK SENSORDISABLE

Toarmthe alarmandbypass shocksensor protection,pressthe LockButton asnormalthen

pressand releasetheLock&UnlockButtontogether within2seconds.Youwill hear3extrasiren

chirpsindicating the shocksensorbypass forthisarming cycleonly.Thisisfeature usefulwhenparking near

railroadtracks,airports,or areaswithexcessiveloudmachineryor noisetopreventthe nuisanceof

unnecessaryfalsealarms.

ALARMTRIGGERS

Ifthereisanintrusionintothevehicle,ahard impacttothebodyortheignition isturned on,the alarmwill

soundand flashthe lightsfor1minute.After 1minute,thetrigger cyclewill automaticallystop and alarmwill

remainarmed tocontinue protectingthevehicle.If adoor isleft openafter anintrusionthentheunitwillcycle

amaximumof2minutesandcontinuetoprotect the otherun-tampered orunopened zones.

LCD REMOTEPAGING / ZONEVIOLATIONS

When the systemistriggered,thealarm sendsapagingsignaltothe remote.If youarewithinrange,youwill

receiveapaging signalthatwill lightup the LCD Screen Red. The displaywill showan iconofwhat caused

the violation.The pagingremotewill alsovibrateand beep tonotifyyouthe vehiclehasbeentamperedwith.

OPENDOORALERT/BYPASS

Uponarming,thissystemwillwarn you5-60secondslaterifadoorisleft open.The LCD pagerwill vibrate

and beep(5X’s)alongwithdisplayingthe open zoneonyourLCD screen.Thiszonewill be bypasseduntil the

doorisclosed;otherwise, thealarmwillcontinuetoprotectall otherzones.

PRE-WARNINGSHOCK PROTECTION

The Pre-Warning (Warn-A-Way)featurewill activatewhenalow-levelshockor vibration isdetected bythe

system’sshocksensor.The alarmwill chirp the siren 5timesandflashthelightsoncetohelpdeterany

furthertampering withthevehicle.Thepager/ remotewill beepand showaHammer Icon.

PASSIVE ARMING MODE(Programmable)

Passive(automatic)Armingoccurs30 secondsafterthe ignition isturned off andthelastdoor isclosed.

Uponclosingthelastdoor,theunitwill flashthelightstwiceand LEDwillbeflashingrapidlytoconfirmpassive

countdown.Ifadoorisre-opened withinthe 30-secondperiod,thecountdownstopsandbeginsagainwhen

the door isclosed.Passivearmingprovidesfailsafeprotectionincaseyouforget toarmthesystem.

PASSIVE LOCKING(Programmable)

The systemcanbeprogrammed topassivelylockthedoorswhen thesystem passivelyarmsorrearms.The

defaultsetting isOFF becausepassivelocking increasesthe riskoflocking the keysinthevehiclewhen the

systemarms/lockspassively,withoutyou pressingtheremote.

REMOTEPANICPROTECTION

Tosoundthealarminan emergencyortodrawattention toyour vehicle,pressand holdthe Lockbutton for at

least3secondsuntil thesiren/hornsounds.Press the Unlockbutton toresetpanicmode.The LCD display

will flashmostof the iconsand emit 10beepswhenthePanicMode istriggered.

TRUNK / HATCH POP(Optional, RemoteAUX.1Output)

Thisfeatureisdesigned tointerfacewithexisting Factorypower trunkor power hatchreleasesystemsand

mayrequire additionalpartsand/orlaborcharges.Toeliminatethepossibilityofaccidentallyopeningthe

trunk,there are (3) optionsfor button press selection.Thisoptionwill allowyou tochange whether theRemote

starter andTrunkreleaseactivatebya:

1.Doublebutton ½secondpresses.

2.Single½second press. *Default=Single½secondpress*

3.Press andHold2seconds. Thisoutputstayson untiltrunkbuttonisreleased.

PRIORINTRUSIONALERT

Thissystemwill notifyyouifthealarmwastriggeredwhileyouwereaway.Upon disarming,there will befour

additionalsiren chirpsafterthetwonormaldisarmchirps.Checkyour vehicleforanysignsofabreakinor

tampering. Also, seeLEDDiagnostics (page 17)todetermine thecauseof thetrigger.

DOMELIGHTILLUMINATION(Optional)

Thisfeaturewill turnonthe vehicle’sdomelightupondisarmingfor30secondsoruntil the keyisinsertedand

turnedon. Thiswill provide illuminated entrytoyour vehicleindimlylitareasforsafetyandsecurity.

EMERGENCYOVERRIDE(Disarm)

Ifyou havelostthetransmitter or itstopsworking for anyreason andtheAlarmisarmed,youwill haveto

disarmthe systemmanually.Open thedoorwiththekey[alarmwill sound], turn the ignitionon,and press the

override/programbutton for about5seconds.TheAlarmwill disarmand allowyoutousethe vehicleuntil you

can repair/replacethe remote. Valet ModealsopreventsPassiveArming.

VALETMODE(SolidBlueLED)

Disablesalarmsystemandremoteenginestarting forvehicleservicing.Thealarmsystemmustbedisarmed

toenterValetMode.

1. To ActivateValet ModeManually: Turn theignition onand press the Valet/overridebutton[about5-6

seconds]until youhear (3) siren chirpsand the LEDturnson solid.Repeatthe process toexitVALET

mode.

2. To Activate ValetModewiththeRemote: Press and holdboththe LockandUnlockButton

together for about3secondsuntil 3chirpsare heard.Repeatthissteptoexitviatheremote

transmitter.Lock/Unlockand AUXfeatureswill still operateinVALETMode however;RemoteStart

andAlarmfunctionsare inhibited.

1)Press remotestartbuttonontheremotetransmitter.Systemwill chirp 3timesfor audibleconfirmation.

2)Parking lightsflashonce,then turnonsolid,Ignition/Accessorycircuitsturnon.

3)After afewseconds,StarterMotor engages, Parking lightsandAccessorycircuitsturnoffwhilecranking.

4)EngineStartsandRuns. Parking LightsandAccessoryturnbackon, DoorsLock.

5)Enginewill remainrunningfor programmed run timeuntil resetwithBrakepedal.Ifneeded,theenginecan

be turnedoffwithremotetransmitter.

REMOTEENGINESTARTING –LCDPAGER-REMOTE:

When requestingaremotestart the LCDpagerremotewill confirmwithanIgnition Iconalongwith3beeps.

Oncethevehiclehassuccessfullystarted the remotewill confirmbackwith3beepsand vibration, aKeyIcon

andsmokecomingfromcar. TheLCDscreen will displaythe remainingenginerun timeeveryminute.

Inthe eventthatthe enginedoesnotstartonthe firstattempt, thesystemshutsdownforafewseconds,then

attemptstorestarttheenginea2nd and3rd time.For hard starting engines,the unitwill allowastarter crank

timeofup to4secondsmaximum.Thisshouldprovideamplecranking timefor difficultstarts,butislimited to

4secondstohelppreventdamagetothe starterfromovercranking.

1)Ifenginestartson2nd or 3rd attempt, seesteps4&5(onlastpage) under"SuccessfulStart".

2)IfThirdattemptfailstostartengine,thesystemwill turnoff and doorswill remainlocked.NOFURTHER

ATTEMPTSWILL BE MADEAUTOMATICALLYUNLESS YOUPRESS THEREMOTESTARTBUTTON

AGAIN.

TURNING OFFYOUR REMOTESTARTEDENGINE(VIARemoteControl)

1)EngineisrunninginRemoteStart(Parking lightsON).

2)Press RemoteStartbutton onremotetransmitter.

3)Engine&parking lightsturn OFF,Doorsremainlockedorwill re-lockif applicable.

1)Withengine running,useremotetoUnlock/Disarmsystem(If armed)oropendoorwithkey.

2)Entervehicleandbecarefulnottostep on brakepedal!(RemoteStart Reset)

3)Turn Ignition toON/RUNposition, then pressbrakepedal toreset the RemoteStarter&Shift outof park.

4)Remotestarter will resetinstantlywhenthe brakeispressed.Parking lightswill turn off and theignition key

isnowcontrollingyour vehicle.

IDLEDOWNMODE

IDLEDOWNMODE(Option#26 –10, 20,30minutesorInfinityRun)

Thismode allowsthe unittotakeover operationofyour idling,parked vehiclewhiletheignition keyis

removedandyouexitthe vehicle. Thevehicleisputintoaremoterunningconditionbeforeyouexitanditwill

remainrunning fortheprogrammedruntime, until youreturn, oruntil theremotestartbuttonispressed.

Example:

You pull uptoaconveniencestoreforaquick stop,"IdleDown"modekeepsenginerunningwhen you

exitthevehicle,(withkeysinhand)remotelock/armalarm.Whenyoureturn,unlock/disarmalarm,turn

ignitionONand driveaway.

IDLEDOWNMODE-Exiting TheVehicle:

1)Withenginerunning,pressRemoteStartbuttonon remotetransmitter.Sirenwill chirp3timesfor

confirmation.

2)Parking Lightswill turnON.

3)Doorswill unlock, orifbrakepedalisbeing depressedthendoorswill unlockwhenit isreleased.

4)Turn OFFIgnition andremovekey.Engine shouldremainrunning.

5)Exitvehicle,thenarmsystemwithremoteifdesired.Lockingdoorsa2nd timeabortsremotestart.

6)Enginewill remainrunning forprogrammed run time, until youreturn, orpressthe remotestartbutton.

IDLEDOWNINFINITYRUNMODE

IdleDowncanbeprogrammedfor INFINITYRUN.Thisallowsthevehicleenginetoremainrunning

INDEFINITELY without theignitionkeyinthe switch.Theparking lightscontinuouslyflashinthismode.This

mode can bebeneficialtolawenforcementorcommercialtrucksthatneedtoremainrunningunattendedfor

long periodsof time.
