ARMING

Toarmthealarmandlockthedoors,press theLockbuttononthetransmitter. Youwill hearasinglesirenchirp

and thelightswill flashonce.The systemwill arm,the doorswill lockand thestarter will be disabled ifthese

optionalfeaturesareinstalled.TheredLEDinthevehiclewillstartflashingafter 5seconds.Afterashortdelay

toallowvehicleand electronics tostabilizethesystemwill be completelyarmed.

DISARMING

Press the Unlockbutton onthetransmitter todisarmthe alarm.Youwill hear2siren chirpsandthe lightswill

flashtwice.TheLEDstopsflashing.Doorwill unlockanddomelightwillturn on iftheoptionsareinstalled.

SELECTIVE SILENTARM/DISARMTHROUGHREMOTECONTROL

Thissystemcanbearmedanddisarmed withoutsiren chirpsonan“asneeded”basis.Pressandreleasethe

Silent Buttonfor arm/disarmwithout siren chirps.

PROGRAMMABLESILENTARM/ DISARMMODE(CHIRPDEFEAT)

The systemcanbesilentlyarmed and disarmedasnormalwithLock/UnlockButtons,butnosirenchirp.See

alarmprogramming option(#8)toenableordisablethisfeature.

PASSIVE ARMING / PASSIVE LOCKMODES / PASSIVE CHIRPCOUNTDOWN

Ifprogrammed,passive(Automatic)Arming will occur 30Secondsafter theignitionisturnedoffandthelast

doorhasbeen closed.The LEDwill beginflashing rapidlywhilecountingdown.Ifadooror hoodisreopened,

thesystemwill wait(LEDoff)forthe doororzonetoclosebefore arming.The unitwill flashthe lightsonce.

Doorswill lockifpassivelocking isselected.Mayqualifyforinsurancediscounts-checkwithyouragentor

proprietor.When the Unitisprogrammed for PassiveChirpCountdown,thesirenwill chirpduringpassive

countdown,asanaudiblewarningthatarmingwill occur.Thissiren willemitachirpevery2secondsassoon

asthelast dooriscloseduntil thesystem arms30secondslater.

REMOTEPANICPROTECTION

Tosoundthealarmuponcommand (panic),press andholdtheLockButton forat least2secondsuntil thesiren

sounds.Press the UnlockButtontoreset panicmode.

OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS

ARM/ DISARMWITHIGNITIONON(PROGRAMOPTION#15)

Thisfeature allowsthesystemtobearmedordisarmedwhilethe ignition isinthe ONpositionorvehicleis

running.Thefeatureisdisabled bydefaultandshouldnotbe usedunder normaloperatingconditions.Onan

installationwithanadd-onremotestartmodule,thisoptioncan be enabledtoallowthesystemtobe armedor

disarmedwhenthe vehiclehasbeenremotestarted(Ignition willbeON).Notethatyoucannotusethisfeature

ifyouare alsousing theFull-time carjackprotection.Ifyouaddaremotestartand theIgnitionturnson,a

Carjacktrigger will beactivated.

ACTIVE RE-ARMING(FAIL-SAFEPROTECTION)

ActiveRe-armingmeansthatthe systemwill re-armitself30 secondsafter disarmedwiththetransmitter ifa

doorhasnotyetbeen opened.Thisishandyifthevehicleisaccidentallydisarmed (viathe transmitterinyour

pocket)withoutyou knowingit. Thisfeature canalsobeturnedoff inprogramming option(6).Activerearm

featureisdisabledifyoualsohavedomelight illumination installed.

IGNITION-CONTROLLEDDOORLOCKS

The doorswill automaticallylockwhenthe ignitionisturned onand will unlock when the ignition isturned off.

Thisfeature can be programmed on,off, ortolockthe doorsonly.Doorswill notlockiftheyare open to

prevent locking thekeys in.

TRUNK / HATCH POP(REMOTEAUX. OUTPUT1,OPTIONAL)

Topop thetrunk,press and releasetheTrunkbuttonon thetransmitter. If thesystemisarmed,itmayor may

nottripthealarmsystemwhenopening the trunkdependingonprogramming option (10).See programming

optionchart for more details.

2nd AUX. OUTPUT(REMOTEAUX.OUTPUT2)

To activate the Second auxiliary output Press andhold theSilent Button for 3 seconds to activate AUX. channel#2.

DOMELIGHTILLUMINATION(OPTIONAL)

Thisfeatureturnson the vehiclesdomelightupon disarmfor30secondsoruntil thekeyisinsertedandturned

on.Thiswill provideilluminatedentrytoyourvehicleatnightorindimlylitareasfor addedsafetyand security.

Notethat domelight illumination will deactivatethe activerearmfeature if programmed for activerearm.

OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS

EMERGENCYOVERRIDE/ DISARM

Ifyouhavelostthetransmitter oritstopsworking for anyreason and the Alarm isarmed,youwill havetoopen

the door withthe key,whichwill activatethealarm.Turn theignitiononand press theoverride/programbutton

for about5seconds(until sirenstops).The Alarmwill disarm.If youcontinuetoholdthebuttonforadditional7

seconds,thesystemwill enter the Valet mode.

EMERGENCYDISARMWITHCUSTOMOVERRIDE

Customoverrideallowstheuser tosetaspecificnumber ofbutton presses(2-15)requiredtoperforman

emergencyoverride/disarmofthealarm system. Thisincreasesthelevelofsecurityof thesystem,but you

MUSTMEMORIZEhowmanybutton pressesyouhavechangedyoursystemtouseor the unit will notdisarm

inanemergency.

1.Enterprogramming mode.

2.Turn the IgnitionONandpresstheOverride/Programbutton5times.

3.After ashortdelay,the parking lightswill flash5times,Siren5times,Horn5timesand statusLEDwill beon

solid.

4.Press programbuttonthree timestogotooption #3 “PassiveLocks/CustomOverride”.

5.Press Button 3(trunk) ontheremotetransmitter(3chirps).

6.Press andreleasetheprogramagainthe numberof timesyoudesireinordertoperformemergencydisarm

on thisalarmsystem. Presstheprogram button 2-15timesonly. You need towait for the sirentochirpthe

samenumberoftimesyoupressedtheprogrambuttontoconfirm.

Totestfeature:Tripthealarmsystem,turnkeyON,press theprogram/valetbutton2-15timesasprogrammed

abovethencontinuetoHOLDDOWNvaletbuttonontheLASTPRESS for 5seconds.Alarmshoulddisarm. If

systemdoesnot disarm, thendisarmwiththeremotetransmitter andtryagain.If systemstill doesnotdisarm

or youhaveforgotten yourcustomcode, thenyoumustuseyour remotecontroltodisarmthesystem.

CAUTIONARYNOTE!

If youset upthisfeatureand forget yourspecialcode, there isnowaytodisarm the systemother thanthe

remotecontrol.If youhaveprogrammedyour systemfor CustomOverride,followthesamestepsabove

(EmergencyOverride)whilepressingthe valetbutton2-15timesasyouhaveprogrammed. You must continue

toholdthebuttondownonthelast pressfor5seconds. TheAlarmwilldisarmandentertheValet mode,which

allowsyou tousethevehicleuntil youcan repair/replacethe remotetransmitterorhavethealarmsystem

checked.

OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS

VALETMODE(SolidLED)

TodisabletheAlarmsystemforvehicleserviceorotherwise,turnthe ignitiononandpressthe

override/programbutton 4-5 secondsuntil the dashLEDturnson solidand youhear (1) siren chirp.Repeatthe

processtoexitVALETmodeand thesystemwill chirp(2) timesandtheLEDwill turnoff. Lock/Unlockand AUX

featureswill still operateinwhen inVALETmode.When performingan EmergencyOverride and youhold

downtheoverridebutton,thesystemisalsoplaced intoValet mode.

PRE-WARNINGSHOCK PROTECTION&SENSORADJUSTMENT

Ifalow-levelshocktothe vehicleisdetected,pre-warningprotection will activatesounding 5quicksiren chirps

and 1lightflash.Ifahard impactisdetectedtheshocksensorshouldtripthe alarmsystem.Onceitis

mounted,adjustthesensorasneededbyturning the adjustmentscrewsclockwisetoincreaseor counter-

clockwisetodecreasethe sensitivity.The sensor isalsoequipped with2small indicatorlightstoeasethe

adjustmentprocess. Blue light=Pre-warning disturbance(5sirenchirps). Redlight =Afull alarmtrip.

ALARMTRIGGERING

Ifthereisan intrusion intothe vehicleorhardimpacttothebodywill soundthealarmandflashthe lightsfor 45

seconds.After45secondsthesystemwill automaticallyshutoff andre-armtocontinue toprotectthe vehicle.

Ifadoor isleftopen,theunitwill cycleasecondtimeandstill continuetoprotect the other un-tampered zones.

PRIORINTRUSIONALERT

Ifthe systemwastripped inyourabsence,thedashLEDwill be flashing rapidly.When the systemisdisarmed

youwill hear3chirps(and3lightflashes).Carefullyinspectyour vehicletosee ifthere isanydamage or a

thefthasoccurred.

OPENZONEALERT/BYPASS

Ifthesystemdetectsafaultyoropenzone(Doorleftopen) whenthe system isACTIVELYARMED,thesiren

will chirp5timesalongwith5lightflashes. Thefaultyzone will be automaticallybypassed.

CARJACKPROTECTION

ACTIVE CARJACK

Thisfeature provides Active Carjack protectionand must be enabled before use throughAlarm programmingoption(14)

See page 10. WhentheIgnitionison(vehicle isrunning), press andholdbutton#3 (AUX)for 3seconds. Parkinglights

willflashTWICE to confirm theCarjack countdownsequence.LEDbeginsto flash slowly. 90 Secondslater, theunit

willbeginaCarjack Cycleconsistingof20 secondsof pre-warningchirps turning into afull system activationwith

siren/flashinglightpulses for upto 5min. Toreset Active Carjack, IGNITIONMUST BE ON, thenpressButton#2.

Siren/Hornchirp, LED goes OFF, carjack is reset.

PASSIVE CARJACK

Thisfeatureprovides Passive Carjack protectionand must be enabled before use throughAlarm programmingoptions

(13) &(14). See page 10. Werecommend thismode shouldonlybe usedinserious situations. WhentheIgnitionison

(vehicleisrunning), and adoorisopenedandclosed, theCarjack countdownsequence willbe initiated (lights flash

twice &LED begins to flash). 90 Seconds later, the unitwillbeginaCarjack Cycleconsistingof 20secondsof pre-

warningchirps turninginto afull system activationwithsiren/flashinglightpulses for upto 5min.To reset Passive

Carjack, Ignitionmust be ON,doors mustbe closed, thenpress theoverride/program button(3) times. Sirenchirps

once, LED goes out, carjack isreset. NOTE: Active carjack canstillbe used whenthePassive Type carjack is

activated.

FULL-TIMECARJACK

ONLYUSE THISMODEWHENTHEREISAN EXTREMETREATOFACARJACK WITHYOUR VEHICLE.

Full-timeCarjackprotection mustbeenabled before usethrough Alarmprogramming options(13) &(14).See

TRANSMITTERPROGRAMMING

NOTE: All transmittersmustbe learnedatthetimeof programming. Thissystemcan learn up to4remotes.

1.Turn keytothe ONposition andpress programbutton4times.

2.After ashortdelay,the unitwill flashthe parkinglights4times,Siren4times,Horn 4timesandstatus

LEDwill beonsolid.

3.Press theLockButtononthe remoteyou wishtoprogram.

4.Youshouldget2lightflashes,2sirenchirpsand2horn honks(optional)indicatingthe unitiswaitingfor

the second codetolearn.Press button#1and#2togetherofasecond transmitter,the unitwill flash3

times,3sirenchirpsand 3hornhonks.Pressthelockand unlockbutton on a3rd or 4th transmitterforup

to4total.Note:Theunitwillnotflashthelightswhenlearningthe4
