KEYLESS ENTRY(POWERDOORLOCK CONTROL,Optional)
Thissystem enables youto remotelylockandunlock thevehicle’s doors (ifequipped withpower locks) viaremote
controlfor safety andconvenience. Note:Thisfeaturemay require extra labor and/or parts to install.Press theLock
or Unlock transmitter buttonas youleave or come near the vehicle. Parkinglights will flashonce forlock andtwice for
unlock. If vehicleis running by the remotestart system, the lights willflash, but returnback to solid.
AUTOLOCK/UNLOCK(Improved)
TheAuto Lock feature controlswhether thedoors willautomaticallylock/unlock onyourvehiclewhendrivingor with
turning theIgnitionON/OFF. IftheAuto Lock feature isturned on,andyoursystemisin“Tach”mode, thenthedoors
shouldautomatically lock as theengineRPM increase (driving). If theAuto Lock feature isturned on,andyoursystem
isin“Smart Tachless” mode, thenthedoors willlock a few secondsafter the Ignitionis turned on.WhentheAuto Lock
featureisturned on,thesystem willalways unlock thedoors whenthe Ignitionisturnedoff. Withthisfeature turned
OFF, thesystem willnot automaticallylock or unlock thevehicle. See yourinstaller for programminginformationon
this feature.
DOORLOCK NOTE: If yoursystemhasbeen setup withan optionalstarterkill relay, but you do not havepowerdoorlocks,
notethe following: The lock and unlockbuttonson the remotecontrolmuststill be utilized tooperatethe Starterdisable.
REMOTEPANIC(UsedonlywithOptional HORN HONK featureinstallation)
For personalsafety thisunit now includes a panic feature. Tosoundthe vehicle car horn,press the LockButtononthe
remote formorethan2seconds. Thevehiclehornwillhonkalongwithflashingparkinglamps for1minute. Reset
Remote Panic by pressing either the lock or unlock button.See next sectionfor HornHonk information.
HORN CHIRP/HONKOUTPUT(Optional:withHornconnection&programming)
Thisfeature, ifinstalled, willprovide audibleconfirmationchirps from thefactoryhornforlock andunlock. Whenusing
thisfeature, pressingtheLock/Unlock buttona2nd time within3-7 seconds or singlepress lock/unlock willprovide a
hornchirp for audibleconfirmation.Thesystem canalso be programmed toprovide 3chirps whenaremote startis
requested using the remote. Note: Hornhonk/chirp feature may require extra labor and/or parts to install.
REMOTETRUNK RELEASE ORDOMELIGHTILLUMINATION(Optional)
ThisCoolStart system includes anoutputthat canbeprogrammed toremotelyrelease afactory electronictrunkor
illuminate theinterior lightwhenyouunlock yourvehiclefor lighted entry at night. If youhave the optionaltrunkpop
installed, simplypress andrelease theTrunkButton#3 onthetransmitter or ifoption#6isturnedonyoumust press
Button#3twice within3seconds,toremotelyopen trunk.If yoursystem isprogrammed forDomeLightillumination,
thenitwill work automatically lightingthedome lightfor 30 seconds whenyouunlock yourvehicleviatheremote. The
dome lightwillturnoffafter 30 seconds, or turningthekeyon(whichevercomesfirst). ThetrunkPop or DomeLight
Illuminationmay require extra labor and/orparts to install.
