OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS-ALARM

Arming / Locking:

Press andreleasebutton#1(Locksymbol)onthetransmitter. TheSystemwillarmand confirmwithone siren

chirp, one lightflash,andtheLEDwill begintoflash. Powerlockswill lock(if equipped).Starterdisablecircuit

will turnon. Afterashortdelaytoallowthe vehicleandelectronicstosettle,thesystemiscompletelyarmed.

Disarming:/ Unlocking

Press andreleasebutton#2(Unlocksymbol)on thetransmitter.Systemwill disarmandconfirmwithtwo

siren chirps,twolightflashes,andtheLEDwill turnoff. Powerlockswill Unlockand Interior Domelightwill

turnon(ifinstalledwiththeseoptionalfeatures)

Disarming WhileTripped(Triggered):

DisarmingtheSystemwhileitistriggeringrequiresTWOpressesofthe#2UnlockButton.Thefirstpressof

Button#2Resetsthealarmcycleonly(systemstill armed) whileasecond presswilldisarm/unlockthesystem.

SilentArming/Disarming(Ondemand):

ToArmor Disarmthe systemwithoutsiren chirps,pressandreleasebothButtons#2(Unlock)and #4(Start)

atthesametime.Systemwill ArmorDisarmwithoutsirenchirpsthatone time.Flashing lightsandLEDwill

be theonlyindicatorsofArm/Disarmstatus.Ifthesystemwastripped whileyouwereway,4chirpswill be

heard tonotifyyouthatthesystemwastripped.

SilentArming/Disarming(ChirpDefeat):

Thissystemcanbeprogrammed tosilentarmanddisarmusingthenormallockand unlockbuttons.Flashing

lightsand LEDwillbetheonlyindicatorsofarmedordisarmstatus.Checkwithyourinstallerorfollow

programming optioninstructionsintheinstallationmanual.

Alarm Triggering

Anintrusionintothevehicleorhardimpacttothebodywillsoundthe alarmand flashthe lightsfor1minute.

After 1minutethetriggercyclewill automaticallystop and alarmwill remainarmed tocontinue protecting the

vehicle.Ifadoorisleftopenafteranintrusionthentheunit will cycleamaximumof2minutesandcontinueto

protecttheotherun-tamperedorunopenedzones.

PriorintrusionAlert

Thissystemwill notifyyouifthealarmwastrippedwhileyou whereaway.Upondisarming,thetwonormal

disarmchirpswill beheardthenthesystemwill emit4additionalsirenchirps.Checkyourvehicleforany

signsofabreakinortampering.Alsosee LEDDiagnosticsSection todetermine the causeof the trigger.

OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS-ALARM

RemotePanicProtection

Tosoundthealarminanemergencysituationortodrawattention toyourvehicle,pressand holdButton#1

(Lock)forat least 3secondsuntil the sirensounds. Press Button #2 (Unlock)toresetpanicmode.

Arming WithShockSensorBypass

Toarmthe alarmandbypassshocksensor protection,pressButton #1asnormalthen press andrelease

Button#1 and#2 together within2seconds.You will hear3extrasirenchirpsindicating shocksensor bypass

for thisarmingcycleonly.

OpenZoneAlert/ Bypass

Upon arming,thissystemwill warn youifadoorisleft open.After a60 second setupdelay(for extended

domelights)haselapsed,ifthe system detectsafaultoradoor left open,the sirenwill chirp5timesalong

with5light flashes. Thiszone will beautomaticallybypassedandthealarmwill protectall other zones.

Pre-WarningShock Protection

The Pre-warning(warn-away)featurewill activatewhen alow-levelshock or vibration detectedbythe

system’sshocksensor.The alarmwill chirp the siren 5timesandflashthelightsoncetohelpdeterany

furthertampering withthevehicle.

Passive ArmingMode:(Programmable)

Passive(automatic)arming occurs30 secondsafter the ignition isturnedoff and the lastdoor isclosed.Upon

closingthe lastdoor,theunitwill flashthe lightstwiceand LEDwill be flashing rapidlytoconfirmpassive

countdown.If adoor isreopenedwithinthe30secondperiod,the countdownstop andbeginagainwhenthe

doorisclosed. Passivearming providesfailsafeprotectionincaseyouforgettoarmthesystem.

Passive Locking:(Programmable)

The CS2011DPsystemcanbe programmed topassivelylockthe doorswhen the systempassivelyarms.

The default settingisOFFbecausepassivelockingincreasestheriskoflockingthekeysinthevehicle.

DomeLightIllumination (Optional)

Thisfeaturewill turnonthe vehicle’sdomelightupondisarmingfor30secondsoruntil the keyisinsertedand

turnedon. Thiswill provide illuminated entrytoyour vehicleindimlylitareasforsafetyandsecurity.

Trunk/HatchPop(Optional, Remote AUX.Output1)

Thisfeatureisdesigned tointerfacewithexisting Factorypower trunkor power hatchreleasesystemsand

mayrequire additionalpartsand/or labor charges. Press andreleaseButton #3 (Trunk)on thetransmitter to

pop/open thetrunk/hatch. Ifthesystem isarmed, itwill alsodisarmwhen the button#3ispressed.

OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS-ALARM

RemoteAUX.Output2(Optional)

Thissystemcontainsasecond auxiliaryoutputtoactivateother accessoriesordevices.Toactivatethe

systems’Second AuxiliaryOutput, Press button 5,then press button 1.Outputstaysonaslongasthe button

isheld.Remoteoutput#2requiresprogramming beforeoperation.Checkwithyourinstalleror follow

programming optioninstructionsintheinstallationmanual.

RemoteAUX.Output3/4(Optional)

Thissystemhastwoprogrammableauxiliaryoutputstoactivateother accessoriesordevices.Toactivate

AuxiliaryOutputs3and 4,Press button5thenpressbutton2or4.Theseoutputscan be programmed for

momentary,timed or latched On/Off.Checkwithyour installeror followprogramming option instructionsinthe

installationmanual.

EmergencyOverride(Disarm)

Ifthetransmitterislostoritstopsworking foranyreasonandtheAlarmisarmed,you will havetodisarmthe

systemmanually.Openthedoorwiththe key[alarmwill sound],turntheignition on,andpresstheoverride

programbutton forabout5seconds.The Alarmwill disarmand allowyoutousethevehicleuntil youcan

replacetheremote. Notethat youmayneedtoput the systemintovalet modetopreventpassivearming.

ValetMode(Entermanuallyorusing theremote)

TodisableAlarmand RemoteEngine Starting for vehicleservicing or otherwise,turntheignitiononand press

the override/programbutton [about5-7seconds]until youhear (3) sirenchirpsand the LEDturnsonsolid.

Repeattheprocess toexitVALETmode.Toenter/exitvaletviatheremote,pressandholdbothbuttons#1

(Lock)and Button#2(unlock)together for about3secondsuntil 3chirpsare heard.Repeatthisstep toexit

viatheremotetransmitter.Lock/Unlock and AUXfeatureswill still operateinwheninVALETmodehowever

remotestartandalarmfunctionsareinhibited.

ValetParkMode(Using theremotetransmitteronly)

Note:ValetParkmode isonlyaccessiblewhen usingtheremotetransmitter.Valetparkmode allowsyouto

turnoverthevehicletoavaletallowingaccesstodrive/lock/unlockyourvehicle,butalarmwill triggerifthe

trunkisopened.ToactivateValetPark,press andholdbothbuttons#1(Lock)andButton#2(unlock)

together for about6seconds.3chirpswill be heard firstwhen unitgoesintoregular Valetand asyou

continuetoholdbothbuttonsyouwill hear2morechirps.LEDwill flashslowlywheninValetPark.Repeat

step toexit Valet Parkmode.

OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS-ALARM

Optional M.A.P.(MobileAccessoriesProtection)

Thissystemcan beprogrammed toprovideCrimestopper’sunique M.A.P.(MobileAccessoriesProtection)

featurethatallowsyoutopreventunauthorizedaccess ofyour vehiclesAudio,Cellular,Navigation,or

Entertainmentsystems.ThisfeatureisOPTIONALandwill requiresextrapartsand labor for installation.

Consultyour installationdealeraboutMAP before or during installation.The CS2011RSmustbe

programmed for MAP operation.When the systemisputintoValetParkmode,M.A.P.will preventstereo,

entertainment, navigation,or cellular systemfrombeing used.

LEDDIAGNOSTICS

The CS-2011DPsystemincludesdisarm diagnostics,throughthe REDLEDlight, thatwill helpindetermining

whatcausedthelasttriggerofthealarm system.Thisisavaluabletoolindetermininghowthevehiclewas

tampered withor ifthereisafalsealarm probleminwhichcaseyoucanmakethe necessaryadjustmentsto

correctthe problem.When the systemisdisarmedwiththeremoteyouwill hear the normal2chirps,then 4

quickchirpsthatindicatethealarmwastriggered whileyouwere away.Checkthe LEDlightfor asequence

of flashes:

ShockSensor =1FlashDoor=2FlashesHood/Trunk=3FlashesIgnition=4Flashes

Diagnosticswill resetwhen theIgnitionisturnedonorwhenthesystemisre-armed.

1)Pressandreleasethe remotestartbuttonontheremotetransmitter.Systemwill chirp3timesforaudible

confirmation. (Chirpscanbeprogrammed onoroff-SeeOptionprogrammingintheinstallationmanual.)

2)Parking lightsflashonce,then turnonsolid,Ignition/Accessorycircuitsturnon.

3)After 6secondsStarterMotorengages,Parking lightsandAccessorycircuitsturnoff whilecranking.

4)EngineStartsandRuns. Parking LightsandAccessoryturnbackon, DoorsLock.

5)Enginewill remainrunningfor programmed run timeuntil resetwithBrakepedal.Ifneeded,theenginecan

be turnedoffwithremotetransmitter.

Inthe eventthatthe enginedoesnotstartonthe firstattempt, thesystemshutsdownforafewseconds,then

attemptstorestarttheenginea2nd and3rd time.For hard starting engines,the unitwill allowastarter crank

timeofup to13secondsmaximum.Thisshouldprovide amplecranking timefor difficultstarts,butislimited to

13 secondstohelppreventdamagetothe starterfromover cranking.

1)Ifenginestartson2nd or 3rd attempt, seesteps4&5aboveof"SuccessfulStart".

2)IfThirdattemptfailstostartengine,thesystemwill turnoff and doorswill remainlocked.NOFURTHER

ATTEMPTSWILLBE MADEAUTOMATICALLYUNLESS YOUPRESS THESTARTBUTTONAGAIN.

TURNING OFFAREMOTESTARTEDENGINE:

1)EngineisrunninginRemoteStart(Parking lightsON).

2)Press andreleasetheStart button.

3)Engine&parking lightsturn OFF,Doorsremainlockedorwill re-lockif applicable.

TURNING OFFAREMOTESTARTEDENGINEDIAGRAM:

ENTERINGYOUR REMOTESTARTEDVEHICLE:

1)Withengine running, RemoteUnlock/Disarmsystem(If armed)oropendoorwithkey.

2)Entervehicleandbecarefulnottostep on brakepedal!(RemoteStart Reset)

3)Turn Ignition toON/RUNposition, thenpressbrakepedaltoresettheRemoteStarter &Shift outofpark.

4)Remotestarter will resetinstantlywhenthe brakeispressed.Parking lightswill turn off and theignition key

isnowcontrollingyour vehicle.

IDLEDOWNMODE(TAKE-OVEROPERATION)

Thismode allowsthe unittotakeover operationofyour idling,parked vehiclewhiletheignition keyis

removedandyouexitthe vehicle. Thevehicleisputintoaremoterunningconditionbeforeyouexitanditwill

remainrunningfor the programmed run time,until you return,or until theremotestartbutton ispressed.

Examples:

You pull uptoaconveniencestoreforaquick stop,"IdleDown"modekeepsenginerunningwhen you

exitthevehicle,(withkeysinhand)remotelock/armalarm.Whenyoureturn,unlock/disarmalarm,turn

ignitionONand driveaway.Thismodecan alsobeused on Turbovehiclesthat need idleforcool-down.

IDLEDOWNMODE-EXITINGTHEVEHICLE:

1)Withengine running,press andreleasethe Start button.Sirenwill chirp3timesforconfirmation.

2)Parking Lightswill turnON.

3)Doorswill unlock, orifbrakepedalisbeing depresseddoorswill unlockwhenit isreleased.

4)Turn OFFIgnition andremovekey.Engine shouldremainrunning.

5)Exitvehiclethenremotelockdoorsif desired.

6)Enginewill remainrunning forprogrammed run time, until youreturn, orpressthe remotestartbutton.

REMOTEENGINECONTROL

INFINITYRUNMODE

Thismode allowsthevehicle’sengine toremainrunning INDEFINITELY. Thismode canbebeneficialtolaw

enforcementvehiclesor commercialvehiclesthat needtoremainrunningunattendedforlong periodsoftime.

INFINITYRUNMODE–EXITINGTHEVEHICLE:

1)Followstepson thelastpage for“IDLEDOWNMODE-EXITINGTHEVEHICLE”,exceptpress the remote

startbuttonTWO timesat STEP #1.

2)Parking Lightswill startflashinginsteadof coming on solid, and doorswillunlock.

3)Turn Ignition switchOFF,removekeyand exit the vehicle. Engineshouldremainrunning.

4)The vehicle’sparkinglightswillflashforthe programmed runtime of12,24,or36,or48minutesand then

switchtosolidwhilemotorrunsindefinitelyoruntil fuelsupplyrunsout.
